The visit went very well. The price was reasonable, and close to the estimate I had been given. The electricians were courteous, prompt, polite, and efficient. They answered all my questions, and clearly explained things that I previously did not understand. They also coached me on repair vs replacement of two ceiling fans. I would use Mike's Electric in the future, and recommend them to others without hesitation.

Inspector said they did really nice work. Were willing to do some custom upgrades for work arounds for my weird old house.

Two men came and fixed a few small problems we had. Changed out old light fixtures, changed out the old dimmer switches, etc. They came back a week later to rewire and install a new plug outlet. They were very professional, came when they said they would, did what they said they'd do. I highly recommend them.

This company was a pleasure to work with from the start. Super friendly phone staff, they called to confirm appointment and showed up on time as promised. Work was done in a very professional manner, floors were covered and protected, the old ceiling fan was removed and disposed and the new fan was installed and works perfectly. As well Brian went up and over by reading the instructions and showing me all the options on the fan. I will not hesitate to hire this company again in the future. the two hour inspection took about 40 minutes. then they suggested they do some of the work to use up the remaining hour and 20 minutes. An apprentice did the work while a journeyman watched. after they left, I received a bill in the mail stating the work they did was not included in the two hours. Another angie's list sucker punch.

Everything about the experience was awesome. They did all the little things right, no cutting corners like you see with so many contractors these days. Just great work, fast and easy to understand pricing.

I was impressed with their ability to work together to make sure the right equipment and labor was on hand to get the job done quickly and efficiently. They were friendly and professional, and very reasonably priced.

They did a great job! We had hoped to have the work done before we moved into the house a couple of months ago, but it wasn't possible because of scheduling and other work being done here. So we worried a little about potential mess and disruption, but were pleasantly surprised that Aaron and Alex worked quickly and efficiently, moving from room to room and cleaning up as they went...we hardly noticed they were here. They obviously knew what they were doing and were very pleasant to have around. Aaron came back with another worker a week or so later to finish up some final items, and that experience was as positive as the previous two days had been. We're very pleased with the results and will definitely hire this company the next time we need electrical work done.

The electrician was able to determine the issue with the garbage disposal and repaired the switch and wiring. The lighting was solved immediately also and they recommended we replace the bulbs with LED bulbs which we did and now our electric bill will be lower. Can't say enough about Mike's electric, they have put numerous outdoor motion detectors around our house, changed our ugly light fixtures with beautiful can lights in the kitchen and the dining room so the rooms now feel like street of dreams lighting. They helped us determine where to place the can lights too. Very professional and very affordable and competitive pricing. Will continue to use Mike's Electric in the future.

These guys did not miss a beat. Great communication. On time for both estimate and job. Came up with creative ideas on where to place new panel which other companies had missed. Electricians were competent and fast. The city inspector said everything looked clean and up to code. I usually prefer to hire a job under a bid rather than an estimate but I just had a good feeling about Mike's compared to bids from other companies. The final cost was well under the estimate they had given me. I would definitely use Mike's Electric again.

Doug was very responsive to our request for a bid. He seemed very knowledgeable. He pointed out that exposed feeder cables on the exterior of the 1920s 4-plex were against code and should be re-routed. He also pointed out that wiring for 3 wall heaters that were previously installed in one unit were a potential hazard because of the wrong gauge wire running to the breaker, and he correctly concluded that it was done without a permit. He provided a bid for the installation of 3 wall heaters in each of 3 units and correcting the wiring in the fourth unit. He also provided a separate estimate for re-routing the feeder cables. We ended up having all of it done at the same time. The work was done when scheduled, and the workers were able to save us a little money and wall patching because of the way they were able to route the wires, causing less damage to the walls than anticipated. The electrical inspector said the electricians did a good job (with the exception of forgetting to label the new breakers on the panels - a minor issue). Overall we were very satisfied with their work.

Bought a deal for $89 for whole house electrical inspection. We just bought a house and wanted a more thorough inspection to see if there were issues. The person inspecting did a great job of taking photos and explaining all the results. They did quote us for a couple electrical projects, but found the prices to be a lot higher than the other bids we got, so we didn't use them for those specific projects. Great deal for the inspection though!

I contacted Mike's Electric they were out within a week. The gentleman that did the job, worked quickly and efficiently. He explained what he was doing. Unfortunately the former owner of my house did a lot of questionable electrical work in the house. They needed to replace the electrical box, the one that was installed was not proper for a ceiling fan. He had to go up in my attic to replace this. Was totally impressed with service provided and will contact them again for some future projects.

The electrician and his assistance arrived on time. The electrical connection was already in place, but a light had never been installed. They added additional support wiring to the outlet so that it will not come down during an earth quake. The fan was then installed and the blades were bolted on to the fan base. An electrical switch had been installed when the home and all the wiring was in place. The electrician installed the radio controlled switch which came with the fan. The installation was checked by the electrician. Later that evening, we found that the switch did not seem to work. A call was made and Mike sent two electricians out the following Monday. They checked everything and the fan did work for them. The problem I had with the fan not working was determined to be caused by interference with the radio waves. This interference was possibly due the TV since we use a wireless control for the TV and the internet. The TV was not on when the electricians installed the fan or during the call back. It was suggested that if the problem continued, we could get a different switch that was wired directly to the fan. The electricians were knowledgeable, did not create any dirt or dust, removed all packing material, boxes, etc., and were friendly and answered questions that I had.

It went very well. The electrician was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly
