Mike's Electric

The electrician's arrived on time, were friendly and professional. They answered all of my questions and did a great job. When I called into the office for some information the gentlemen who answered the phone was very nice and provided detailed information for me so I could purchase the right fixtures I would need for the job. I would definitely hire them again and refer other people to them.

Two people performed the work. They were very efficient about their work and division of duties. Did an excellent job, cleaned up area using a vacuum. Nice clean installation.

Was a good experience. Some service providers are unfriendly and just trying to get out of there. Mike's electric was all about making sure we are informed of our situation. We haven't decided yet whether to go forward with the estimate but was happy about the process so far

Tom traced the wiring under the deck and identified the cause of the electrical short. To resolve the problem, he had to remove and replace several boards on the deck to gain access to the deck light wiring, which had not been properly installed in 1988. The lights were rewired, bringing the electrical connections up to code.

The service was great. They charged me more than the $99 Big Deal charge because I asked to have some extra work done. I think I had them work on some extra outlets. They were very good at what they did. They showed up on time and did what they needed to do. I would recommend them probably because they came in and they were easy to work with and did a professional job.

They were able to construct a new box in another room with a small bit of exterior conduit that is hidden behind a desk. They were then able to install outlets on a wall we wanted.

Exhaust vent pipe was no longer connected. They had to install new pipe, both fans, (upgraded and very quiet), and electrical switches and the cost was almost exactly the same as the estimate that was quoted. Very good service and would use them again.

We were very pleased with installation and quality of work. It took a couple weeks for an estimate appointment, but once it was estimated and accepted by us, it was installed very quickly. the electrician rewired some of our breakers and cleaned up the ground wires in the back of the box.

Brian and Brad were excellent. They were prompt, quick, knowledgeable and professional. We asked them to do extra items on the spot which they were able to take care of immediately. I highly recommend!!

The service was fine and scheduling was no problem. The staff were very nice and thorough.

The coupon that we purchased was for two hours of electrical work for $99.00. Turns out that they send out "two" electricians and charged us separately/additional for the second electrician. In my opinion - it was a bait and switch. "I" did not request "two" electricians.....nor did the work we have to be done require two electricians. I complained and after a couple of back and forths....they split the difference with me.

I think the charges were excessive.

I cannot say enough good things about the electrician and his assistant who did the work. Friendly, informative, professional and their work was very well done. They also took the initiative to changed out the ballasts and lights in the garage because the existing lights were not appropriate for temperatures below 50 degrees. They did this without even being asked. Finally, they wired an adapter for my wife's electric car so she can plug into a standard dryer plug. They cleaned and hauled away all of the work debris and even hauled away some of my recyclables. Absolutely the best!!!!!!

I won't have him again. I didn't understand they were going to send in an apprentice with a journeyman, and I had to pay $108 an hour for the journeyman to do nothing. The journeyman did a few jobs, and smoked cigarettes outside. The apprentice was very nice. I have no problems with the work; I just don't like having to pay for two people. They didn't clean up afterward. I had tiny pieces of wire on the floor, and they left a socket on the floor.

Mike's gave us several options and explained each one. The estimate was over $2000, but it took a shorter time and we got the advantage of the efficiency of Mike's employees. We have had Mike's make several other repairs and installations and have always been very pleased. Nice people. Fair price. Great work.

They were able to get me on their schedule within a short time. They called me a day ahead and reminded me. Arrived on time, with permit in hand and had the job done in short order. VERY professional and I am tickled with how it looks. I had chosen a spot for the outlet but at their suggestion we put it in a different spot...turns out.....they were right! Much better placement!

Showed up on time and were very professional. Performed their inspection quickly and then showed me all areas that needed electrical updating and also let me know how serious, or quickly should be addressed. The office sent me a timely quote (I think less than a week) with recommended repairs broken down by price. We plan on using them to complete the work they bid out once we are ready to move forward with the electrical updates.

The electricians showed up right on time, did all the work super fast and were extremely professional. I already have another list of things that need addressing and will most definitely be giving Mike's Electric a call again!

They were great. Amanda in the office is very nice and explains all of the issues. They scheduled me very quickly and the workers were right on time. Very professional and the work was great. Had the electrical inspection yesterday and he was very impressed with their work and said they always do a great job.

It was a good experience. We felt they were thorough and competent.

He replaced our thermostat. He did a good job.

Mike's was amazing from start to finish. We wanted to simply relocate our electrical feed, but quickly realized our code issues would require a complete upgrade of the feed, all the way to the box. The estimator was very knowledgeable about code and PGE requirements and advised as to how we might be able to avoid a complete upgrade, however, our covered patio project was far enough along that we were committed. The quote was right in line with what we would expect. They were very prompt in responding and scheduling. They took care of City permitting as well as scheduling with PGE. Staff were very professional, arrived on time. The quality of the work was excellent. Thrilled with my new box - if I could add a photo of it, I would - really clean installation.

I think what happened was they came out and gave an inspection but they had a long list of things that we wanted repaired or changed and they wanted to charge us $800 for all those services. Those services were not what we purchased from them but I just remembered that the price was so high everything for everything that we were interested in. So we did not use them other that for the inspection. I don?t want to give them a negative review because I don?t remember everything about it. So I just want to give them a fair assessment. Although the service was for inspection but when we asked them for other things that needed repair and service, I thought they were really expensive.

It was a very long process, very professional, and done with great care. electricians were punctual and worked for several hours. Price was higher than I'd anticipated, but I have little basis for comparison.
