Description of Work: I did not get service from this company because they gave me good advice to get free service from my utility company. Great company and will give them my business in the future.

Description of Work: We requested that a outlet be moved (so our TV could be mounted on a wall), a ceiling junction box be moved, a ceiling fan installed and a light switch be replaced. Mike's arrived on time and were very professional. The work was completed in a timely manner, within 4 hours of arrival. I did not have to clean up after. There were no issues and everything has been working great. I would hire Mike's again.

Description of Work: Mike's installed a new electrical panel in our 100 year old house, integrating existing knob and tube circuits with newly wired circuits. They installed a plug in the fireplace for a new gas fireplace and completely rewired (replacing knob and tube) three upstairs bedrooms, adding outlets, heaters, and wiring for ceiling light/fans. They added new three-way switches in the basement and upstairs stairway. |It was a pleasure to work with Mike's crew! They were not only responsive to our needs and frequent questions, they offered valuable advice throughout the project. I would not hesitate to use Mike's services again or to recommend them to a friend.

Description of Work: I needed the backing plate for a relocated bathroom light installed and Mike's electricians performed this work flawlessly. They arrived on time, re-routed the line through the attic, installed the box solidly enough to hold a pendulum fixture, cleaned up and left. Perfect.

Description of Work: I have used Mike's Electric for many years. I don't remember how I originally found them, but I had a growing need for electrical help with a number of properties that I owned. Projects ranged from replacing entire electric panels, updating very old wiring to more simple projects like updating GFC plugs. Spending money on things like this is never fun... but I trust them. They have proven themselves repeatedly. They maintain the highest level of integrity. I would recommend them to anyone for any electrical need.

Description of Work: Dishwasher installer had screwed up the electric outlet the washer plugged into so that it didn't work. The Electrician pulled out the dishwasher, traced the problem, & retired to fix it, then re-installed the dishwasher. He also volunteered to inform the appliance vendor about the work, & his opinion that the vendor should pay, rather than me.

Description of Work: We bought a house that had many electrical problems and was not up to code. Mike's Electric fixed up our panel, installed a whole-house surge protector, and added dedicated circuits for the microwave and garbage disposal. They also got the work fully permitted for us and fixed up a few other small things. They were efficient and did exactly what they said they would do - I would definitely use them again!

Description of Work: Investigated complex issue that caused 2 circuit breakers in panel to knock out electric in garage & 1/2 of 2nd floor. Discovered builders had driven large siding nail into wiring on side of house, allowing moisture to also get in & short out circuits. Replaced faulty circuits.
