Description of Work: Clint and Amanda (apprentice) came to install at dedicated 115v for my new jacuzzi tub install. You need 2 electricians for this job. Luckily, Amanda was chosen and it softened the costs instead of having 2 full-fledged electricians. I was given 2 choices to run the line for my new jacuzzi tube. 1. Go inside the attic which required going through the ceiling or 2. drilling through the wall to the outside of the house and running the wire through a hollow pipe to protect it from outside elements to the garage Circuit Breaker. This outlet was upstairs and the garage downstairs so quite a few feet. Clint was very knowledgeable and worked well with Amanda who was very nice and accommodating. Both did a great job. A few days later all plugs shorted on one wall in my family room and I had to call Clint back to trouble shoot. This was a one man job (thankfully) and he figured out the problem (a neutral wire) and changed outlets in my Family Room and Kitchen. The third time I called Clint back was to change the entire outlets of my house but not after talking with Daryl the owner who was very professional and didn't charge me a travel fee the 3rd time since this all happened within an approximate 2.5 week period. So I would definitely use this company again because the work was A+ and Daryl the owner was very fair with the pricing. Thank you!

Description of Work: This is the second time we have used Mike's for electrical needs and have been completely satisfied. On this visit, Aaron and Doug arrived promptly to install a new multi-directional security light over our deck and outdoor fixtures to light the driveway path. Both projects were done very well and efficiently. They were also helpful in giving advice for approaches and alternatives. Re the landscaping lights, we had received an earlier estimate from another well-known firm that was not only more expensive but did not include actual installing of the lines through our brick walkway and among plants and trees (they were going to lay out the lines but suggested that our landscaper complete the installation.) Mike's did the whole thing and did it well -- saving us both time and money. We also found Mike's process for scheduling estimators and projects better and faster than other firms we have used in the past. For something as critical as electrical work, its reassuring to know that we've found the A-team in Portland. |
