MARQUIS SPAS

It went very well. I was very, very happy with their service. He was in and out quickly and the price was reasonable. He was on time. He was professional. I would recommend them.

We had a bad pump and originally called Marquis, they immediately came out told us the issue (pump needed to be replaced) and indicated a price. However, my husband, bless him... wanted to see if we could get a better price. Long story much shorter, less than a year later the hot tub wasn't working again. Tried to get "Craig's List" guy back out to fix however he came out told us it was AGAIN the pump (that he put in) and wanted to charge us AGAIN. Crazy. So, we went back to Marquis. Mind you, this was the day before New Year's when I made my call and didn't think I would hear anything until the following week. Got a call Friday morning from Steve letting me know he could be there in 30 minutes. He immediately assessed the situation and after I coughed up the fact that we tried to go cheap the first time he let me know that the replaced pump wasn't even new (big surprise) and because it had been "re-wired" incorrectly it caused the heater to go out. Needless to say, my husband learned his lesson (at least in this case). Hot tub is working beautifully and we definitely recommend them.

Provider showed up on time and was very knowledgable. Very friendly and helpful.

Extremely informative and professional. Gave options with costs for each option. We were very impressed & will use them again for our Marquis spa!

I like the quality of their product and the fact that they are an Oregon owned company. They aren't the cheapest. I would continue to use them.

We didn’t have a good experience with Marquis Spas. They lost the instruction menu for the barbeque. The delivery got delayed, but when we finally did work it out, they turned up at the appointed four hour window. When they came out, they just dumped the barbeque in our house and we were charged $50 for delivery. They refused to set it up for us. When my husband and I finally set it up by ourselves, we discovered that the ignition system didn’t work at all. I called Marquis Spas repeatedly, but nobody returned my calls. So, I directly contacted the manufacturer of the barbeque. They sent out a whole new ignition system, which my husband begrudgingly installed. He didn’t want the barbeque in the first place. So, I asked the manufacturer if I can send the whole barbeque back; I was really at the end of my rope. In order to console me, they sent me a barbeque cover. It wasn’t a pleasurable experience. The barbeque is working fine now. However, I wouldn’t go to Marquis Spas again.

They were pretty responsive. I was not one hundred percent happy. There was a lack of attention when I would go to their store. I think that the people who are helping you are not that knowledgeable. It didn't take them long to get there once I made the call. I thought the charge was outrageous and I was not informed up front of what it would be. I think they are expensive.

We purchased the spa (hot tub) at the Home & Improvement Show at the Oregon Convention Center on 10/1/06. The salesperson, Tyler, was very congenial. He even got into the empty spa to show how much leg room it had. The purchase went very smoothly. However, almost 2 weeks went by without hearing from them. I finally called on 10/11 and left a message for Tyler. He called back and said it would be delivered in about a week. A week later, I called again. He said ''Didn't anyone call you? It will be there on Sunday 10/22''. On Saturday, 10/21, the delivery men showed up. They set it up quickly and explained all the controls. We did have to go back to the showroom for a chemical holder, tho.
