Description of Work: Painted 10 doors, all baseboards and door trims, painted 2 complete bathrooms including walls, baseboards and window trim. Also painted window trim in 3 bedrooms. | It took 3 days total and it went very smoothly. Quality work and the crew left everything very clean. The painters were very courteous and respectful of our house.

Description of Work: Painted top of stairwell (high gloss dark brown) to accent white posts, and painted several entry walls to match earlier work. Work was detailed enough to have made us cautious about who we wanted to do the job, and we couldn't be more pleased with the quality, perfectly cut lines, etc. Mark and the painters assigned were skilled, great to work with and available to complete the work even sooner than expected. We are happy customers!

Description of Work: Painted a large older home in Goose Hollow. Challenging job done at a reasonable price by an experienced crew. Much of the 3rd story trim required 40' ladders. They performed the work with tenants in the house. Required some eve repair and flexibility after encountering multiple wasp nests. Two coats. House looks great. Most of the days were over 90 degrees. The job was done during the times stated in the job description. Lots of work, well done.

Description of Work: I purchased the Angie's list special for Mark Powers Painting knowing the amount of painting I wanted done would exceed the specials limit. When Mark came over to give me an appraisal for the additional work he graciously gave me the Angie's list price for the additional work. Two painters came over to do the work and they did a super job. I would not hesitate to recommend or use his services again.

Description of Work: Mark refinished our over-sized front door. The job proved to be much more difficult than expected, but Mark and his team persevered. The end result was great.

Description of Work: Mark painted 2 fireplaces in one day. He primed and painted two coats on one very tall fireplace and a 2nd in the family room. He works fast and is very neat and clean. I am very pleased with his knowledge and efficiency.

Description of Work: Painted a tricky popcorn ceiling. Helped me choose a good ceiling color to enhance the wall color, patched holes from electrical fixture, cleaned up. Was courteous and helpful regarding the circumstances of others in the house also repairing.

Description of Work: Mark arrived on time and the painter (?) arrived a bit later after being lost since he was from out of town. The deal was $199 for an 8 hr day of painting, including prep and patching, and Mark had estimated that it would be a squeeze to complete my completely empty 11x12' room plus ceiling in that time. The painter was polite and seemed competent, and Mark left making some comment about a lack of drop cloths. The painter was taping together pieces of cloth over my new flooring. Mark also did not have enough spray texture and suggested I buy more from Home Depot. The painter took at least one phone call from friends in the area and I saw him texting at least a few times. Late morning I was headed for Home Depot and asked the painter if I could bring him lunch but he declined, saying he would just "work through", which I thought odd. At 1pm he announced he was done and began hurriedly picking up cloths & supplies. I checked the work and found several small areas needing correction, which he did. I asked if this wasn't supposed to be a full day job and he replied that he just works fast. At that point he was obviously in a hurry to be somewhere else, though I had other paint work that could have been done to fill the second half of the 8 hr day, but I didn't want bad work done. I also had to stop him to clean his paint footprints from my floor, carpet and porch, though the floor needed full washing due to the inadequate drop cloth. Again, COMPLETELY empty room. The paint job looks good, even without typical dry time between coats, but customer service, professionalism and integrity seemed to be sorely lacking.
