We cannot say enough good things about Beverly and Doug! We needed to sell our house and move to another home across town. We've had some less than ideal experiences with real estate agents in the past, so we interviewed several different folks before deciding to sign with Beverly and Doug. Beverly worked with us on the sale of our house and Doug helped us to find a new home; this was ideal, as they each have a wealth of individual experience and expertise in these areas. When Beverly first came to our house, it was (admittedly) a mess - too much clutter, kids toys everywhere, needed some external work, etc. She was able to see past that and gave us some excellent suggestions regarding what we should do to get ready for sale (as well as what was not necessary to do), and was also able to provide us with some great references for the services we needed. Beverly met with us twice before we signed with them - the first time to find out what we were looking for, what our goals were, etc. The second time we met, she brought comparables for homes in the area, a list of professional references, estimated sales price suggestions as well as a breakdown of profit/cost associated with those sales. She was so professional and prepared - it was both reassuring and very impressive. Several other agents we met recommended listing at a price well below Beverly's estimate, but Beverly and Doug do so much business between the two of them that they knew that our neighborhood had just started having more demand. They recommended the ideal listing price - we attracted the perfect amount of buyer attention, ended up in a bidding war (3 bids after only 3 days on the market), and sold for $27,000 over asking! Beverly was also expert in helping us navigate repair addendums, etc as part of the sale. We found the same level of expertise and guidance from Doug regarding the purchase of our new home. He set up a great, auto-updating search of the market to look for houses that met our needs, and he also looked up any house that caught our eye - often calling other agents to get more information on why a house was priced the way it was or why it hadn't sold, etc. Doug steered us clear on more than one occasion from houses where there were some pretty big flaws that were not readily apparent to us. One house has listed only partial covering with a type of house siding that is not recommended (and needs to be replaced) when in fact most of the house had that siding - Doug noticed the difference and called the other agent out on that omission. We were strongly considering that house at that time, and were relieved to dodge that bullet as dealing with that could have cost us many thousands of dollars. Doug also has the experience to be able to tell us about neighborhoods, commuting time, and other important details in addition to the houses themselves- which was super helpful. We were able to buy a wonderful house for us, that meets our needs in a fantastic neighborhood with great schools and a very reasonable commute - a perfect fit. Dough even checked in with us after the move to make sure everything was as it was supposed to be and we hadn't run into any unforseen problems. By the way, their commission is industry standard (same as everyone else we met with) except a little bit better if you use them to buy and to sell (I couldn't figure out how to put a percentage in the cost box above). We just couldn't be happier with our new house or with the service that Beverly and Doug provided. I think what impressed us the most about Beverly and Doug is that we were so comfortable with them, and they were always available - whatever the time of day, weekday or weekend, to answer questions and help us navigate this process. We would recommend them to anyone - you can absolutely trust them to help you to sell your house or help you find a new home!

Fantastic. They provided advice regarding preparing our home for sale. (Will we get a return from repainting, for example). and represented us throughout the negotiations. With their help, I believe we obtained the best sale price.

Doug was the person I worked with most but he and Bev make an outstanding team. That's one reason I chose them, in fact, since I thought I would get the expertise of both -- which I did. He suggested I look at Northwest Portland, which I would not have thought of on my own -- but I think it was a perfect match, and I'm delighted to have purchased a condo there. I haven't moved in yet, but I'm very much looking forward to my new life there. I highly recommend Doug and Bev; I don't think I could have found better realtors to work with.

They were super! Supporting all of our needs from start to finish. My husband had some major medical problems in the midst of selling and Beverly and Doug stepped in to do what we called not to keep the sale going. They were our lifesavers!

We live in Michigan and wanted to buy a condo in Portland where our son and daughter-in-law live. Not knowing any real estate agents there, we went to the owner of one of the largest real estate firms in our city for advice. He referred us to Beverly and Doug Moser. The Mosers were a perfect match for us. We first met with the Mosers Thanksgiving week 2011. At that time we did not even know what part of the city to begin looking in. We gave them a list of our priorities and explained that we were interested in an urban lifestyle. They showed us condos in several areas and helped us zero in on a particular neighborhood. With their help, we were able to identify NW Portland as a good fit for us. We made a second exploratory trip to Portland in June 2012 and the Mosers showed us some more properties; however, in between they kept us informed about relevant listings and sales. After our second trip to Portland we were able to identify not only the neighborhood we wanted, but also the specific development that worked for us. In August we got a call from the Mosers letting us know that a unit was coming on the market in the development we wanted. They strongly urged us to come out and see it before it hit the multi-list because they believed it met our exact requirements. We made the trip and ended up with a signed contract. Not only that, the Mosers were able to convince the seller's agent that we were a better prospect than another party who actually made a higher offer. We closed in October and couldn?t be happier. Throughout this process the Mosers were very professional, readily available, reliable, knowledgeable, informative, honest, and very easy to work with. At no time did they pressure us. They provided referrals for financing and for an inspector, all of which we did long distance with their help and we were also very happy with their referrals. It was a long short sale dve to complications on the seller's end.The mooser made sure these issue did not prevent me from purchasing my home.
