I called to request an estimate about a 10 days ago. The time for the estimate was set for Monday morning. John called prior to arrival around 9:30AM. After we agreed upon a price. John said they might be able to take care of removing two trees today. John called about half an hour before the crew arrived. The crew arrived about 12:15 and removed two large trees taking about 3 hours from start to finish. They cleaned up prior to leaving, including leaves which were already on the ground. I was pleased with how quickly they were able finish the job and they way in which they cleaned up afterwards.

From the front office to the work crew, these folks were professional and friendly. They were very responsive in providing a bid and in answering my questions. The work crew showed up on time and after checking with them to make sure we were on the same page, I left for work. I had advised them that I wanted some of the better wood (for firewood) off of one of the trees for a neighbor across the street. They stacked some really nice looking wood on the curb at the neighbors I had indicated. It was a nice touch. They grinded out the stumps and some extra surface roots. They did a great job on my Redbud, I am very impressed with the shape of the tree and the condition they left my yard. It's landscaped and they left it as they found it. If you are looking for a company that provides a quality service at an affordable price, then this is a company you want to hire.

Wonderful service- trees look fabulous and all cutting was done while I was here to help direct and choose which limbs to remove. Afterwards the garden was cleaned up and other than all the day extra light flooding my home you would never have known they were here. The trees thank you!! My neighbors were so impressed they asked him to do work in their gardens while they were here. I am planning to call them again to thin a second stand of trees this summer!

J&F Tree service happened to be in our neighborhood and we asked them to trim up a cottonwood tree in our backyard. They came right over in less than two hours, cleaned up the tree and the yard in approximately 2 hours.

They responded quickly to my request for an esimate and even came back after I missed their first appointment.

John and his crew couldn't have been any nicer to work with and their professionalism was fantastic. They did a wonderful job. Started bright and early and got the job done to perfection! They listened to everything we had to say and performed the job, even with modifications. They had to remove a gate to get the stump grinder in. Reinstalled the gate, put boards down to protect the lawn, were very respectful of us and our neighbors property and with us. We are so happy we hired them to do the job. We are delighted with their performance and would definitely recommend them to anyone and will use them again as needed. The estimate was done on the spot and reasonable for the job done. LOVE these guys!!

Very easy to work with on the estimate, and had no issue with modifying the scope of the job. Overall would highly recommend this company! Very professional and the gentlemen that performed the removal were very quick! Excellent job overall.

We took down 4 trees in our yard that were all in awkward places so unfortunately the stumps couldn't be ground out but cutters did a great job of cutting them low and even cleaned up a couple extra stumps we had that had just been left standing above ground. They were even able to leave us some chippings from a pine tree they had cut right before our house to use as mulch along our back fence. Very efficient, prompt and priced right. The attitude of service was excellent.

Even though J&F had a very busy schedule John brought his crew over that afternoon and went to work on the removal. They cut the tree down, ground the stump and did very thorough clean up. When they were through my tree was gone completely and my yard was as clean as when they arrived. Very good work from an extremely professional team. I would use J&F for all future needs their company could help me with.

We had a tulip tree that had a root come up. We were worried it would fall over, so we called J & F Tree Service for an estimate. They came out, on time, and gave us an estimate to have the tree taken down along with pruning our other two trees. Their bid was about $300 less than any of the other estimates we received, so we went with them. They had an opening the next day, and when they arrived that morning, they were on time! Once the tree was taken down, they cut up the tree into firewood size pieces and stacked it on our gravel area. They also did an excellent pruning job on our other two trees. The work was all done very well and they cleaned up after themselves. I would not hestiate to recommend them.

John was right on time when we scheduled to get a quote. His quote was competitive and very detailed as to what the job included. John was very professional and I felt comfortable he would be the company for the job. John and his crew arrived on time the day of the job and did an exceptional job of taking the tree out and cleaning up after themselves. He coordinated everything with the crane operator and the crew did an excellent job. I am more than pleased with the end result and would not hesitate to call J&F Tree Service for future tree service needs.

The only thing I might recommend is to check with your neighbors before you do something like this on a Saturday (at 7:30 am)...let them know it's going to be happening and make sure they aren't having any big events at their house so you don't disturb that (we didn't have a problem but in retrospect I realized I should have made sure in advance, because that's something that would have bothered me if I was having a gathering!).

The work done was as expected. They did their job quickly and left no mess.

John who gave me the bid arrived promptly, made an offer to do the job which I accepted, and gave me a time to do the job. The crew arrived as promised, were friendly and professional, asked good questions, and did the job as promised. They left NO mess. Outstanding.

Fabulous work! They arrived exactly on time, worked very quickly and cleared up as they went. The men with him were polite and helpful and professional. They checked with me throughout the job to make certain they were doing what we wanted. The limbs that were trimmed look natural, the cuts from limb removal look neat and clean. The price for the work was very fair. The garden this morning looks wonderful- it is amazing, there are no gaps or gapes or twisted branches- it all looks natural and yet there is so much more light everywhere in the garden-the trees are saying thank you and so am I. Note: As they were working in our garden other neighbors watching the work invited them to cut trees for them also. I would rehire John and this company for any additional work I ever need without any hesitation.
