Perfect!! Mark was easy to talk to, professional, efficient and his crew was hardworking and considerate. He uses top of the line equipment and the result was exactly what we hoped for! He was able to work us in the next day after calling which was much appreciated and he arrived right on time. When he left the place looked great. We would definitely hire again and we already have plans to do so! 100 % satisfied!

Very well they were on time as scheduled and carefully removed the branches one at a time with a hoist line.

I called Mark, the owner, after looking at his reviews on Angie's list. He agreed to come on Saturday morning to look at the tree and give an estimate. He agreed to come between 8am and 12 noon with his preference for the earlier time. We waited around all morning and into the afternoon. He never came or called. Sunday morning, we discovered his card on our front porch. And later in the morning Mark called. He said he had been here at 7am on Sunday and looked at the tree. He was ready to give an estimate of $700. When my husband told him we had expected him on Saturday, he offered no explanation or apology. My husband told him that he wasn't interested in dealing with him because he didn't keep appointments. So Mark respondd that he didn't want to work with us either. And, they hung up.

We need to remove a dead tree and called Green Planet to get a quotation. Mark came to assess the work and provide an estimate to remove the dead tree and other 4 small pines (we are planting Maples instead of). He offered to come the following day to do the job. The priced looked right and I offered the job. He and his team arrived on time and performed the job very professional, fast and clean. I asked to remove a couple of branches and he did the job without any additional charge. The dead tree was a 20 feet tall pine and he removed it without causing any damage to the landscape then he remove the stump and cleaned the area. The other 4 small pines (including stump removal) took less than 30 mins. The whole job took around 90 min including cleaning and removing small branch/debris. I am very pleased with their service and I recommend Green Planet / Mark service without hesitation.

They were here most of the afternoon, and they did pretty well. The only real problem I had was that a few small holes were poked in my screen while they were carrying the pruned limbs out due to the narrow path at my house, so I don't entirely blame them. Otherwise, they cleaned everything up very well and I was satisfied with the work..

Mark Mangold provided an estimate for the tree maintenance to 4 mature Maples on the side walk and a large redwood in the back. He and his team were prompt and efficient in starting and completing the work. Since he does the work himself with good equipment and skill he completed the trimming and cleanup in 2 hours. He was efficient, knowledgable and thorough he his work. I would highly recommend his work.

My first experience with Mark Mangold was when he removed a huge tree from the back yard of my previous home. He did it while I was at work and when I got home I could barely tell there was ever a tree there. He ground the stump, covered it with bark and it blended right into the flower bed. That was over 5 years ago, and between now and then he has trimmed other trees for me, telling me what's healthy and what's not, and how they should be cared for. I used to "trim" my own trees and it was amazing to me how much healthier they looked when Mark did it. I learned it really isn't a job for an amateur. My last experience with Green Planet was when Mark removed a tree from my current property and replaced it with another. I hadn't actually chosen the tree I wanted to put there when he took the first one out so he gave me some ideas of what would work in that spot and offered to pick it up for me. I was very indecisive so he just told me to call him when I decided. I went to the nursery on a Sunday morning, picked up a tree, and called Mark as soon as I got home. He was at my door within an hour and had the tree planted soon after. I have recommended Mark to friends and they, too, have been very pleased. I recommend him without hesitation.

I had two trees in my front yard that needed maintenance, badly. I spotted the Green Planet equipment in our neighborhood working on a large tree. The equipment looked new and well kept. The truck had a boom bucket and was towing a substantial chipper. This looked like the kind of equipment needed for my job. I stopped, watched them work for a while, then approached. The owner, Mark Mangold, was on site and working. I asked him to stop by my house and look at my trees. They finished the job they were doing and arrived at my house about 30 minutes later. Mark offered to prune my trees right then and there. The price was right. Mark and his two colleagues went to work and drew a small crowd of my neighbors, who admired the work. My next-door neighbor asked whether Mark would remove a LARGE branch from a large oak that straddled our lots. The branch was a threat to my neighbor's roof. Mark and his crew did that job. It was a large oak, and a large branch. I watched. They climbed, belayed, and removed the branch professionally with no threat to the houses or a fence under the branch. They cleaned up, removed debris and left. I am very pleased with their work and can recommend them for any similar work.
