Excellent job. Bill and Ralph worked with us to decide what could be refurbished vs. what needed to be replaced. They did excellent work and were very enjoyable to work with. Since we had painters working at the same time they had to coordinate their activities with the painters. All went fine. The house, deck, and like-new front door now draw attention where before they were better off unnoticed.

Bill was recommended by our painter. He gave my husband a quote for $1,800, ordered the materials (which had to be specially milled to match the 1920s lumber). When those arrived, he smoothed and primed the wood, and did the replacement. It took him awhile to respond to our various calls, but that worked out OK because his work didn't hold up the painter's work.

I was having my exterior painted and decided to have some suspect siding replaced at the same time. Bill came out and identified areas (mostly south facing) that were in need of replacement. Unfortunately schedule forced him to replace the siding after the paint was complete, but the painters repainted the new siding. I was pleased with the work that was done, with a couple of exceptions. The cleanup from the work was inadequate by my standards, and the painter on a subsequent visit was nice enough to clean up the mess. The one other complaint I have is that Bill did not provide me with a receipt for the work. I called at least three times for one. On one call requesting a receipt, Bill assured that I would get one promptly. I have yet to receive one. Hint to contractor: I would love to submit a second report, correcting this complaint.
