I have used the services of For the Love of Trees four times in the last 6 years. I've always been very happy with their pricing and their work. Jeremy listens to my concerns and also makes good suggestions. His crew double checks the trimming instructions that he writes down with the home owner, then performs very good work. I will definitely continue hiring them.

The tree service work was done extremely well and exactly as I detailed to the company owner. The tree trimming crew did great work, cleaned up very well, hauling away all branches and debris, and even worked around an aerial cable line I was unable to have temporarily disconnected, thanks to the impossibility of making that happen with Comcast. I would highly recommend For The Love Of Trees for any tree service work one needs done.

Excellent work. Taking down trees and removing large branches often poses both engineering and design challenges. The crew handled both challenges extremely well. They damaged no other plants while dropping heavy trees and branches. And the pruning was done with the eye of an artist. We've hired a number of tree services over the years, and this one was by far the best.

Hello internet stranger! Just like you, I had lots of tree-anxiety. My wife and I moved into a house built in 1958, with trees over 100 ft tall, that hadn't been trimmed in 15-20 years. The deadwood falling on the roof at night kept us awake. So we called For The Love of Trees and they came out in a couple days to give us a bid for trimming. Two giant trees to be trimmed, an old Cherry to cut down and grind, and a vicious Juniper bush to rip out. FTLOT's bid was the most economical, and it also felt the most informed; they talked me through every piece and I felt like I understood why the cost was what it was. Fast forward to the day of work. They had 3 people hanging from trees at the same time, and a group of people on the ground hauling & dragging branches to the chipper. It made me feel "wow, this is a serious operation, these guys know their sutff". Highly impressed. At the end of the day while the sun was setting, the supervisor walked the property with me and showed me what was done, and I was so excited. Satisfied is not a strong enough word to use, they did an amazing job. Jeremy called me later the next day to make sure I had seen everything in the daylight and was pleased. FTLOT's did a fantastic job with my trees. They were knowledgeable, kind, thorough, and really seemed like they CARED. I will happily recommend them to my friends/family/coworkers/strangers! Excellent work on all counts: The crew arrived right on schedule. They removed a large diseased Norway maple in a difficult location, worked efficiently, safely, and cleanly. All debris was cleared away. No damage to surrounding plants or structures. Stump grinder did an outstanding job in spite of the difficulty of access. It was a pleasure working with all employees involved.

I have a maple tree that had grown more than I realized. When the leaves came in and the rain fell this spring, several branches were so weighted that they were touching the ground. I searched Angie’s List and based on reviews decided to give For the Love of Trees a try. I was able to send in a picture of the tree and receive a quote. Within a couple of days, they were at my house and were quickly able to trim the tree up and get it looking good. This happened during the COVID-19 quarantine, and they were respectful of social distancing. They were courteous and professional, the estimate was accurate and they cleaned up well when they left. I will definitely use them again in the future.

The job was done very well with a high degree of professionalism. The team of Carissa, Michelle & Jason worked well together to get the job done cleanly and with ZERO damage to our property (which is a challenging task in itself, considering the obstacles in our yard). They accomplished everything we asked them to do. The bid was fairly priced. They cleaned up even the tiniest of twigs after all was done & ground up. Fantastic! The team showed up on time, removed the junipers quickly and did some extra trimming I only asked about after they arrived. Very quick and professional. Very nice folks!

We were impressed with the quality of the work provided by the arborist and crew. The tree trimming opened up the light in the yard and drew attention to the beauty of the trees. Our neighbors commented on how much better the trees looked. The work crew arrived exactly as scheduled and finished the work in a timely manner. They cleaned up the debris and hauled it away as promised. They were at all times polite and responsive to our questions. We especially appreciated the arborist letting us know which trees needed work and which ones could wait until a later date.

Fantastic job! very professional. The crew took extreme care both in controlling and lowering each branch to avoid damage but also to observe Covid-19 Distancing guidelines between each other, This was a huge job and they did great.

I cannot say enough positive things about this company. The communication was excellent from the initial assessment of work to be done, scheduling the crew and follow-up afterwards. Jeremy and his crews are true professional arborists and experts at tree management. Many large branches were skillfully removed and lowered to the ground in sections without causing any damage to the surrounding landscape. Their clean-up was impeccable. The crew chief, John, went out of his way to provide on-site assessment of the health of an ailing mature oak. This will definately be my "go to" professionals for all future management of the many trees on my 1/2 acre lot.

Jeremy Fry, owner, came out to give us a bid on removing a dead Coral Bark Maple. We needed four other trees removed from the property and two trees trimmed. Once he got the bid to me, we got the job scheduled within a week. His crew was prompt, friendly and very efficient. They were receptive to my input once the job was almost done and made recommendations for future trimming to be done in the fall. I thought the price for all services, including a third party stump grinding service, was reasonable and fair. Would highly recommend them and will have them come back and do major trimming in the Fall.

It went very well. The crew of four did a great job. The bid we accepted allowed for the possibily of fallen limbs leaving divots in our lawn to save costs but no divots occured because they tried hard not to leave any. They left no debris behind. I've used them before and will do so again.

Jeremy, the owner, came out and we discussed the work to be done: pruning a couple of Japanese maples, removing dead trunks from two more; and pruning a huge red cedar away from a fence and removing branches hanging into our neighbor's yard. His crew came out a couple of weeks later and did the work very efficiently in less than a couple of hours and totally cleaned up after themselves. Over the four years we've used the company, they've transformed a Japanese maple in our front yard that was pruned into a round ball with suckers sticking out on all sides when we bought the house back to its natural state. Several firms I called before talking to Jeremy recommended chopping it down; we appreciate that he was willing to give it a chance, and it now looks great! He really understands how trees are supposed to be pruned and so does his crew.

This company is a pleasure to work with. The office staff were responsive and helpful. Jeremy was very prompt in providing a bid and very responsive whenever we had questions. The crew that did the work (John and Caleb) walked through the yard with us to be sure they had a clear understanding of our expectations. They were efficient and thorough and walked through the yard with us again upon completion to be sure we were satisfied. They cleaned up the yard when they were done. John had to climb high up in our locust tree. It was worth every penny to have this expert work done. The trees look the best they ever have. If was important to us that a Certified Arborist was present on the job. This was not true of the other 2 companies that provided us with bids although the costs for all 3 companies were comparable.

This is my second use of For the Love of Trees and once again I am very pleased. Arrangements and scheduling were easy and Jeremy was very responsive in handling those. The arborist who handled the pruning spent time chatting with me about my concerns and desires before setting to work. I watched from inside and could see that he was careful, analyzing the process as he went along, he was safe when climbing the tree and respectful of my yard and those of my neighbors. Cleaned up completely afterward. This appointment was a follow-up to one done a bit over a year ago. The previous was a more major pruning, and analysis of a tree I feared might be dying. This year we confirmed that the troubled tree is fighting back and seems healthy so only light trimming there. The second tree was maintenance, clean up of dead branches, inspect for health. Most of the major trimming back was handled last year. I can probably wait a couple years or so now before my next appointment.

Great company to work with. Prompt. Work done & charged as per the estimate. Cost was much cheaper than previous work by other companies. They found a dangerous split branch while up in one of the trees which was not able to be seen from the ground when the estimate was performed. They called & sent photos, explained what they recommended should be done & how much it would cost. I added a couple of areas which were not discussed during the estimate visit, & because they were simple to do, they did not charge for them. Very pleased with the whole process. Would highly recommend & will definitely use again.

We would highly recommend For The Love of Trees. The crew were very professional and informative about all the work they were doing. We had them trim and prune two trees in our yard (Katsura and Dogwood) and they did extensive pruning on five street trees. Even though weather caused the rescheduling of our job, Jeremy was very accommodating and understanding of our need to complete the work as soon as possible. We would not hesitate to contract with this company again.
