Wanted to add a review after one year with Donna and her crew, and say how much I've enjoyed and appreciated their great work! Over the past year, they've done a great job - fast, thorough and even when I'm working from home and getting in their way, they work around me (or my 2 sons during last summer!) with a smile, and do a great job. They visit twice a month, and I don't plan on stopping ...appreciate the great work, Donna!

Fine. They do a thorough job, and they are very willing to correct anything that I find they have missed. Currently, the other workers helping her clean are very good.

However, Donna's personal problems started to be too large to handle and run a business professionally. I felt badly letting her go, but we felt we had no other choice.

We really liked the cleaning service. They were really good but it was really expensive for a regular. There was no problem. They did an amazing job of cleaning. Their regular price was way too much. There were no extra charges.

I have a 2200 sq ft home and they were scheduled at 8 am for a deep clean. As my home was going on the market and pictures were being taken day of appointment at 3, the house needed to look it's best. I scheduled the appointment a week in advance and feel, since the original deep clean was $375 and they've been cleaning my home for months, she should have warned me of the price descrepancy. When she told me the total bid amount on the day of (1 1/2 hours late to begin), it was too late to schedule someone else to clean my home. I felt that I was in an untenable situation. So I allowed them to clean. After the clean, I took a brief look through the house and it was obvious that they didn't dust. Donna told me it was because they ran the vacuum after dusting and the dust went back into the air. (This is their profession shouldn't they know better?). She then said "do you want me to re dust?" as if hoping I would say no. Not, "I'll redust for you, I'm so sorry". After they left and the haze of spending so much money had worn off, I discovered that she never re-dusted the guest room and that there was a film on all the blinds. They had been dusted but certainly not "deep cleaned". Other surfaces such as the banister, alarm panel and baseboards all had a thin film on them. As my friend told me, for that price, I should have been able to eat off every surface! The worst came when the photographer was here. We had to move the couch (hardwood floors, couch is on rollers - can be moved with your hip) and there was a mountain of dirt and dog hair underneath! I was SO EMBARRASSED. And Donna is still arguing the point with me on whether or not she moved the living room furniture as stated in the bid. She says the reason for the price descrepancy was the blinds weren't done on the first one (they didn't do the cupboards on this one so that should be a wash), the oven needed cleaning (on a self cleaning oven? you press a button) and moving the living room furniture (which wasn't done). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Yes they are super nice as long as you agree with them. But the job doesn't get done and you have to dip into your kids college fund to pay them.

I have been using Faithful Cleaning Service for about 4 years now. Donna Madrid and her crew do everything possible to make us happy when cleaning our house. We have a small home (about 1400 square feet), with mostly laminate tile or linoleum and a bit of carpet. We have two bassets that shed fur, and have the freedom to go in and out the doggie door and sometimes track things in from the back yard. Donna and the crew come once a month. They clean the bathrooms from top to bottom (tubs, showers, toilets, mirrors, floors), the kitchen from top to bottom --appliances, counter tops, wipe down cabinet fronts, shine up the sink, mop the floor. In the bedrooms they dust, sweep and vacuum. In the high traffic areas in the living room, dining room and family room, they dust, sweep, mop & scrub the laminate tile floors. When Donna and the crew are finished, usually in 75 - 90 minutes, our house is clean and fresh and feels like new. We have a great relationship, and Donna understands what I am looking for in a clean house. I would recommend Donna to anyone who wants a clean house, AND is willing to pick things up before the crew arrives, to make it a win-win for everyone.

Pleasant to deal with, professional! Showed up when promised to, got right to work cleaning my home (3100+ two story). We had a few so called "cleaning company's" come in before Donna and crew. Here it is simple and sweet and you've heard it a 1000 times You Get What You Pay For....... I think a lot of people figure they'll open a cleaning company cause anybody can clean right? Not the case, there's a BIG difference when pros do it with the right equipment and cleaning products. We went ahead and hired this company to do weekly maintenance cleanings. It's not cheap but when you figure your time and the simple relief knowing the house cleaning is getting done and not backing up on the to-do list the value is obvious. Not just surface cleaning... The nook and cranny kind of cleaning.

The cleaner comes into the house and does what is expected. We are very pleased with the service.

First, I can see that this provider's response to negative reviews is a huge blast of insults to the customer, which is not a professional response. I'm fully expecting to get that as opposed to some sort of reasonable discussion about the problem. Up to you - I'm not the one with my business on Angie's List. The complaints I have with the service have absolutely nothing to do with the family emergency that the provider had. I was happy to reschedule with her. The issue is the work that was done at the house and much much more the response to the problem. The provider came and did a beautiful job organizing the cabinets. However, the wipedown was not as immaculate as I had hoped. I had expectations of perfection because this was the entire extent of the job I had requested. One had a vertical holder for cookie sheets etc that was completely missed. Before you say it, I will. It was disgusting and filthy and full of cat hair. That was why I hired you to clean it, coincidentally enough. And you had agreed to clean it. After you left, it was still disgusting and filthy and full of cat hair. I sent pictures by text and got back the response "was it not done? We had a few more min so we cleaned counter areas tv too and micro is this not acceptable?" After you had just received pictures of filthy disgusting and full of cat hair, no it was not acceptable. We texted a while longer and then you said they did not ordinarily clean the insides of cabinets unless everything had been moved out. Then we talked on the phone and you said your helper must have done them. Why that would matter, I don't know.There just was no coherent discussion. Finally, I sent a text saying that I was really disappointed as that was the only thing I had really wanted done. No response. I suspect the response I will get is that I was told that the provider does not do the inside of cabinets and that when they got to the house they did them as a courtesy to me. To which I will respond - if you were going to do them, you should have done them perfectly. If you don't usually do them and we had some sort of misunderstanding, you should have called me to redefine what you would do. The one thing I feel was not acceptable was to walk away from a filthy disgusting cookie rack full of cat hair and not respond to my final polite and courteous text about it.

August 13, 2014 On July 17th Faithful Cleaning Service came to ?deep clean? our home with the expectation of having a twice a month regular cleaning maintenance. We have a 2600 square foot home and we are two retired folks that have had twice a month cleaning service for several years. We haven?t had a ?deep clean? before but we did move into this house in 2005 and it was remodeled and repainted at that time, and was deeply clean with move in readiness. Faithful Cleaning Service, Donna Madrid, Owner, gave me a bid of $595.00 to clean everything top to bottom. I thought that was a very high price, but she promised a ?top to bottom deep cleaning.? She said outside of all doors and door knobs, over the doors frames, all the cabinets and appliances on the counters, all the floors would be mopped three times with a great product, the vents would be cleaned, even the return vent in the ceiling, the ceiling fixtures would be dusted and even the ceiling fans would be wiped down with a damp cloth, not just dusted. She said everything, from the top of the cabinets to the floors. She said she would not do the windows, or the oven or the inside of the fridge for this estimate. If I wanted that done, it would be more. I agreed to pay that price and signed the contract. I found a coupon on Angie?s List. It said that if the coupon was presented before the service, a 20% discount would be given on the ?deep clean? service. I asked her about it on the phone. She said ?Oh, I already gave you a discount when I made the bid? She said, ?Angie?s list did not remove that and I told them to take it off?. Then she said ?It was supposed to be for only 10% off any way?. She said, ?I will call them and they will take that down?. She said, ?I want my customers happy so I will change the amount to $535.50 rather than the $595.00. I want you to be happy? So the final price was ten percent off. Since she said it was the fault of the Angie?s list staff, I told them what had happened. The same coupon was still on the web site on the date of service July 28th. Even though the coupon was only half honored, I was looking forward to a sparkling clean home. I was very disappointed. The floors were clean, except for my media room and it had some pretty significant spotting that was not swept or mopped. I had seven glass things on a shelf, none were washed. The ledge in the kitchen above cabinets was not touched. Donna said that was ?too big a job and was not part of the service; that is a ledge not a cabinet'. The intake air vent was not washed, ?just brushed with a broom?, the sliding glass door frame was not cleaned. Donna said that was ?part of the window?. The guest bath surround was not clean. The bath rugs on the floor had foot prints on them and not returned to the place where they belonged. The soap dish was not clean. The toilet paper was wadded on the roll. There was dust on the top of the door frames. The dish holding fruit on the table was not wiped off. The coffee table dish was not dusted or wiped off. There were books left on the bed, rather than replaced on the bedside table. The TV had fingerprints and smudges on the sides and it was dusty on the table and screen. The crew came back the next day and tried to put things right. They swept and mopped the floor in my craft room, washed the television, and did ?re-clean? as I showed them what was on the agreement but not done, except for the things mentioned above. I definitely felt that I was the ?bad client?. Donna did mention that it was her ?help? that was deficient not she herself. I felt very uncomfortable with the entire transaction and that I definitely did not get what I paid for. I have since employed a different local cleaning service and am very satisfied.

Donna is very professional. She returns calls and emails promptly. If she is going to be delayed she calls to let us know and when to expect her. We tried her service with an Angie's coupon and were happy with the results and her high energy skills managing her team. She made a separate appointment then to come back and do an evaluation and quote for regular service. She prepared a written quote for us with a higher charge for the initial deep cleaning, then a lesser charge based on frequency of cleaning. She discussed the options with us so we both knew what the expectations are. The price was a bit higher than I hoped for but probably comparable to other cleaning services I have tried.

Donna waited until a month to schedule then cancel the day she was suppose to come. We reschedule again and then she cancelled again and she said it will be another month, which will be August.

I got 3 cleaners who arrived early and got right to work. There was not enough time to do everything, but that is because have a large house and only bought the Mother's Day special for 3 hours of work.

Donna was very nice about letting me know they were running behind. It was a 6-7 hour job and I wished they would have started earlier. They did not leave until around 8 pm. We were unable to eat dinner as it was very late. Donna had told me that they would put things back where they went. While some things were out back, my husband and I spent 2 hours after they left putting our house back together. We had them make our beds and the fitted sheet for our king size bed was put on wrong and was torn. We had to redo our bed. Donna told me that she would come to me with questions. She did, but she should've asked about other things. We ARE however very pleased with our clean house. It was a disaster. I just wish it went better.

They did fine. They did adequate. They didn't do anything extra. They were in a hurry and then they left. It was fine because I didn't ask for extra stuff. They were in a hurry and had another appointment after me. For what they did, they did fine. They seemed to be a new company. A lady there was training some people and that was fine. I didn't have a problem with that, so I can't say about the professionalism as they were learning. They did what she told her to do, so I didn't have a problem with that. They came on time. There were three people and got the work done in one hour. It was a very good pricing. Their response was very good. She spent an awful amount of time working while talking over cell phone though. It didn't interfere with her work though, but it did bother me because she wasn't paying attention 100% to what she was supposed to be paying for.

We have used Donna and her team for many years. We are always pleased with the work they do. They are mostly on time and if they will be late, Donna will call and let me know. All the ladies are friendly and kind to my kids if we are home when they are there to clean.

Great! I reconnected with Donna after my last housekeeper didn't work out. It was a relief to have her back in my life! Its just wonderful knowing she's going to be there to seemlessly clean and get the job done. No drama! No hassles! I love working with her and would recommend her to anyone--she's personable, professional, and wants to genuinely give her customers the best service ever!

I am very impressed with how much was done in one hour by three persons. They did an excellent job.

Faithful Cleaning Service came out to do a cleaning for my wive's mothers day present. They worked around my schedule. They showed up we discussed what I wanted done and then they got right to it. They did a great job cleaning, are fast, and friendly. It was our first experience using a cleaning service. My wife is so happy she wants them to come back. Thank you Donna and your team!

Everything went well from the first contact. When I called, the owner made an appointment that was timely and convenient with my schedule. They arrived on time and went to work immediately and when they were finished my house looked and smelled clean. There were some minor things that weren't done; i.e. light switch plates and kitchen hood were not cleaned, but the rest was done very well. One thing I should have done before they came was make a list of what work I wanted accomplished within the hour. Next time I will be more prepared to direct the cleaners. The owner and her crew were very courteous.

Donna and her crew did an excellent job. They fit us in last minute too. They detail cleaned our house after we moved so that our new renters could move in. I would recommend them, and will use them again.

Excellent. Donna has been cleaning our house for a year now, on a once-per-month basis. She and her crew went to great lengths to work around our aged yellow labrador last year (he's no longer with us). They're punctual, do a great job, and we're always happy to have had them come through.

The results was a very clean house. Donna did everything she said she would. I was very happy with the results. I have initiated service for e/o week now.

Donna and team has been cleaning my house (and simplifying my life) for a few months now, so I'm a little late on my review but wanted to say they've done/do a great job! My initial walk through with Donna was helpful, as I was able to share what my top cleaning needs where in the house (some rooms more than others) but what I've especially appreciated is they will also help on the "little things" around the house that may need extra attention or cleaning that week -- it seems to change each season! -- that keep the place clean and comfortable for me and my teenage boys. I went from monthly to 2x/month recently, which probably speaks to my assessment of Faithful Cleaning Services better than anything...Thanks to Donna and her team! UPDATE August 20th, 2014 - Just wanted to add a note that I'm still enjoying the great work they do here, twice a month. I like that they are constantly asking for feedback on what areas to focus on, and it's helped me immensely. I mentioned the help on the "little things" in my initial review, but they really aren't "little" - for example, I'd been traveling for business and the dishes had piled up (even with a new dishwasher) but I came home to a clean kitchen AND stacked/stored dishes. I don't expect that kind of help, so when I saw Donna next and tried to thank her she just said "that's what we DO!" (i.e., above and beyond) so I just wanted to add another note of "thanks" and that I look forward to working with Faithful Cleaning Services for a long time!

In short, all went fast, smooth, and better than we could have asked for, especially at such a reasonable price point. With our previous cleaning service we found that the service was doing worse and worse while the price went up and up. My wife really doesn't like having strangers in the house for several hours of cleaning. She appreciates that Donna sends a crew instead of an individual to make things go much faster, and the whole crew is all smiles and friendly, so the whole thing is a pleasant experience. They pay plenty of attention to details and things that are somewhat hidden and others might neglect. They are adaptable to our special needs and eager to help. Donna says she actually enjoys cleaning, and I guess that is true of the whole crew. Imagine that.
