Description of Work: Purchased coupon [easily]. Called provider at ~ 10:00 AM on 6/12/2013. He answered personally. Sounded a little befuddled, said he was at a worksite, stated that I should call again and it would go into voice mail, and that HE WOULD CALL ME BACK. I have dnot receive a return call as of 6/13/2013. Previous experience with provider unresponsiveness is one of the reasons I subscribed to ANGIE's List !

Description of Work: After many years of water leaking into our unfinished basement, we knew it was time to get it fixed. In addition, we had many settling cracks in the basement floor that we wanted sealed. Q was very prompt in returning messages, and offering a bid, which we felt was reasonable. He was in constant phone communication with us during the project. His workers were on time, and Q did follow-ups that assured the job was done properly. What we found was that the incoming water pipe had never been properly sealed on the original construction, so water was following this path into the basement. The real test will come next year in the winter rains, to see if it is now adequately sealed. Q assures us that he will return, if the problem persists.....I highly recommend him.

Description of Work: Q came over as quickly as possible to check out a possible leak in the basement after a big storm. He was very knowledgeable and professional, offering several options for responding.

Description of Work: During the course of an inspection for home sale, the question of crawl space size arose. The seller had a GC come to give an evaluation and bid for work in the event they purchased the home. They showed us the 'evaluation' and bid. My husband is in construction and new this bid to be padded as to work required and the cost to provide the work. We called Ethereal Elements after reading the reviews on Angies list as we wanted a completely non-biased eval (not a GC that is a friend or aquaintance from my husbands years in the industry) Q was wonderfully professional. He commented that he knew our neighborhood very well and that they are well constructed mid-century ranch homes and the crawlspace size is common and adequate for the homes of our vintage and area. Knowing time was of the essence, he fit us into his schedule to come out to do an assessment knowing full well that we would not want any work done. I told him that I would be happy to pay for his consultation but he declined saying that he doesn't charge for evaluation. This also seems like a situation that showed no conflict of interest.... unlike the GC hired by the prospective buyers. The building contingency was subsequently removed by the buyer and our evaluation from Q was cancelel. I will say that if we needed any work done prior to sell, I would have hired him with confidence.

Description of Work: Q performed a list of items stemming from dry rot exterior boards to bathroom electrical issues to closet sliding doors repair. All tasks were done to a high quality. The contractor was responsible in keeping in touch with us for schedule times, updates on estimated costs availability of materials, and professional efforts while in our home. Not only will I use Ethereal Elements again, but will continue to recommend Q to friends and neighbors looking for reliable, professional contractors.
