They arrived in the time frame they said and did the quote and work on the spot. They also were available within 3 days... while others were 2-3 weeks out. The only downside was the price... a little high for the time they took.

Both were very professional, helped move the furniture, found couple of additional outlets that were not working and helped fix it.

Excellent. On the downside, they showed up an hour after the scheduled time and weren't the lowest in price.But they were thorough, professional, and solved the issue. They ended up tracing wiring in the attic and found a loose connection. The electrician was really great. I'll definitely Use them again.

He was responsive in the beginning and I called him 6 more times and he didn’t come back out.

It went great. The electrician arrived within a couple hours of my phone call and fixed the electricity lines to the new hot water heater.

They just didn't do as good of job as who we've used in the past.

The electrician (owner) wanted $70 for the travel and $220 for the first hour. He "fixed" the outlet in twenty minutes and started packing, claiming it was completed. I was suspicious and plugged something into an adjacent outlet. That tripped the GFI outlet he claimed to have fixed. If I didn't do that, he would have walked out without having fixed the issue and charging me double what others are asking. I used him because he was available that day. He stayed longer and suggested I change all outlets to GFI's. I'm not an expert, that that sounded ridiculous and expensive. I called another electrician who fixed it by changing the load connection on the GFI. He charged me $130. I would strongly recommend you stay away from Mr. Sparky's. I've never given a bad review, but this one was borderline unethical service.

Everything went perfectly and the job was done in two hours. We just thought the price was high for the two and a half hours of work. But he did come out and bid the job first.

I had a last minute issue with a damaged outdoor electrical outlet and I was very short on time. Phil was very responsive and worked with me making an appointment early in the morning so he could handle quickly. He didn't charge me any emergency fee and he fixed the issue within 30 minutes or so. He was very prompt and efficient. I would definitely use again.

They charge $79 literally just to come over. Then they wanted to charge me another $149 to diagnose. Then we'd have to pay for work in addition to that. Ridiculous. Going with Bear electric.

Wonderful, Mister Sparky sent two guys to my house who worked efficiently. ?They were friendly and went out of their to make sure I saved money and received exactly what I wanted.

Went great. He went straight to work and got things done! Haven't any problems with anything that was fixed!

Mister Sparky representative was a no-show for a scheduled estimate and did not send a message or leave a voicemail.

This required running PVC conduit under walk way. Contractor was not prepared for doing this. I had to provide tools and suggestions. It was a difficult job I admit. It took longer than four the 4 hours contracted and contractor didn't charge me. He then left the mess as is...with pieces of PVC laying around and my hose all over the walk.

My first experience with Mr. Sparky deserved an"A" rating.? This one, not so much.? I made an appointment a week in advance detailing what I wanted accomplished (install 2 ceiling fans with switch control, add an electrical outlet and repair the light/fan in the master bedroom).? He arrived 45 minutes late on Friday and completed the installation of one ceiling fan.? The second fan was not installed, but a hole was left in the office ceiling.? Nothing done in the master -- I now have 2 rooms upstairs with no lights.? He returned on Tuesday afternoon, completed the installation of the office fan, installed the outlet in the walk in closet but did not touch the master fan.? When asked if I had light in the master, his reply "I didn't do anything, I worked on one of these earlier today and couldn't fix it.? You will need to buy a new remote control and receiver for the fan.? I will need to return, take down the fan, take it apart and install a new receiver."? What happened to the Friday comment that it could be a loose connection in the switch?? Didn't even check??? It is now cheaper for me to buy a new ceiling fan/light combination and find a friend who knows about electricity.? I am sorry for this experience and not particularly pleased about the cost given that the most important room was untouched.? (The only reason I am not happy about the cost is that I am still hot!!!)

I called those folks because of their excellent Angie's List reviews. I spoke to the owner who sounded very unprofessional and almost tentative. I told him what I was looking for (installation of bathroom fan), he sounded very much like he was not interested in doing the job which is why I am sure without asking any questions he quoted me $500.00. To say the least I called someone else and they also have excellent reviews, however the Owner was very nice and is charging me less than $250.00 for the same thing.

Was very accommodating, had to go out for parts and went over two hours. I am very satisfied!

First appointment I called him to see if he was on the way. He said yes, Then at 30 minute's late he called and had to cancel for another priority call. He came late to the next appointment. He was a very nice man however, very unprepared and un organized. I had bought most all the parts to save time and try to get one more outlet installed in the two hour time I purchased. Well it took the full two hours to do the first switch and he didn't seem to have any extra parts for the job. 30+ trips to his work truck to get tools or something. Very frustration, very slow, very unorganized. at two hours I told him I would not pay any more time and that he needed to use his own time. He agreed with me. So the job was almost finished and he didn't have a cover plate or a switch for me. I will buy those parts and install myself. I do not recommend paying hourly rates for someone so slow and un organized. Its a waste of my money to see time being burned up looking for things in the truck or just not being prepared. He was a very nice man and friendly but I cant recommend him to anyone.

This was part of a small remodel project. It involved rerouting an electrical line up and over an archway through the attic. The electrician was very pleasant and did the work well; he was a tall person and had to climb through a very narrow space, but he did it without complaint. He also installed smoke alarms in both adjoining rooms, which in retrospect was not necessary. On the negative side, the company was strangely reluctant to get an electrical permit for the work, even though I requested it and was willing to pay for it. The electrician who did the work was new and didn't know the procedure for permitting, and the owner was out of town at the time, so I was willing to wait--but when the owner returned he tried to talk me out of doing the permit, even though I explained that it was all part of a remodel that would eventually be inspected. We did get other estimates on the project, and every other electrician included the permit cost, and the county building permit office reminded me when doing the overall building permit to be sure to get the electrical permit. After I insisted, the owner dropped by and gave me the permit and I gave him a check. I had no problem with the work or the pricing, but the reluctance to cross the t's and dot the i's raised some red flags for me, so I would not hire Mr. Sparky again.

I was very satisfied. Phil did a good job and was willing to explain what did and did not have to be done to make the wiring safe and to code. I hired him to come back to finish the job and do some additional work, which he did.

Almost perfect. Part of my of problem was with a GFCI. I asked how much to replace that and he stated $90.00. I ended up having an extra one in my shed. I later checked on amazon for that same GFCI and I can get 10 pack for $50-70, not $90.00 for one.

Adam was great. Then Phil came out ?and I wasnt as confident with the company. I think if you get Adam you'll be good. Phil?I had to keep remindign him of the panels, where they were, what amps they were and then he almost doubled Adams bid?it was not comforting.

One guy came out to do the work and ended up having to come back out. They were okay, but basically he kept telling me that the people before did a crappy job on the electrical work. The work went fine and I haven’t had any problems, but I had a problem with the technician badmouthing the people that did the work before.
