Eager Beaver Duct Cleaning

Everything went well. They also were able to locate and remove some insulation that was blocking one of the cold air returns and also replaced the outdoor screen on my dryer vent. Nice guys.

Positives: Eager Beaver was recommended by my HVAC contractor. Their pricing was higher than other providers with good reviews on Angies list. Per request from my contractor, they matched my lowest available price. Although their schedule was full, they worked me in so that air duct cleaning could be completed prior to to Furnace installation. They showed up at the scheduled time. They were polite and respectful of my home. My contractor was happy with the quality of their work. Negative: I had requested to pay with my Discover card for the cash back benefits and also that I prefer to pay for this kind of service by CC for year end record keeping. On the day of service their CC machine was down and I had to pay by check. All in all they did a good job.

The cleaning went very well, the provider showed me how much dust and gunk was cleaned out when her opened his vacuum. I was satisfied to see that, that was all cleaned out of my system. All vents were cleaned and dusted. The cost was a little more than I expected, but all in all, it was a much needed cleaning and well worth it. The $299 on Angie's list is was drew my attention, but the service cost more.

I was able to get an appointment within a couple of days of my initial call. The person who answered the telephone was very friendly and explained the method they use for cleaning. Much more extensive the companies we had used in the past. Two gentleman showed up on the appointment day about 15 minutes early. No problem there. Explained the process that would be used. Walked through all the rooms to insure they knew where all the registers were located. They set to work completing the job efficiently and quite quickly. Both of the guys were friendly and made sure we were satisfied.

The service provide was as expected or better from start to finish! They were prompt & professional on the phone, politely & patiently addressed all of my questions, showed up on time as promised and did a thorough, professional and clean service. It's apparent to me given the equipment they use that our ducts and vents were cleaned very well! Come to find out, not all vent/duct cleaning is the same. These guys obviously have the skill and proper equipment to do it right the first time. I will not hesitate to have them back as a regular maintenance and recommend them to my neighbors, family and clients.

Due to developing a recent medical lung problem, I wanted to have the ducts cleaned in my home. I contacted them and they scheduled a crew to come out on 11/20/2014. When the crew arrived, they discovered that due to the fact that I had an air conditioner added onto to my furnace and due to the nature of the duct work there, they could not cut into the furnace to do their normal cleaning. They then checked the closest other vent which they said could work as an alternative if the ducting goes directly to the furnace. Upon checking, the ducting of the nearest vent went away from the furnace. As such, they said that their equipment would not be most effective in my situation and recommended another company with a different type of equipment that could do a better job for me. I very much appreciate their honesty and the fact that they didn't waste my time and money on something that wouldn't be effective. Due to their integrity, I recommend them to others for work on duct systems more compatible with their methods and equipment.

The service was timely, and the service technician was very friendly and professional. We will be calling Eager Beaver next spring to schedule an annual maintenance cleaning.

Our HVAC company does not do air duct cleaning so they referred us to Eager Beaver. I have to say that their contact person Kristen was super efficient! Based on our experiences with contractors, we usually have to wait at least one or two days for a response after our initial inquiry; however, Kristen got back to me within the same day. The job was performed by one person only, but he was pretty efficient and things went smoothly.

|Mike did a terrific job. He arrived exactly on time, worked non-stop and fast. He's a very hard worker. Small outfit, but they do what they advertise to do. I will call on them again.

Great. Prompt professional service. Didn't charge for the dryer vent because it was very short and went straight outside - showed me where it was and how to clean it. Positive experience.

It went well. Mike was polite and worked with our schedule. He took off his shoes and was courteous. He was conscious around our toddler and dog. We were really happy with the result and service. It was a relief to have the service done after the crawlspace had a rodent and raccoon problem to know that it was cleaned out.

Overall, I am impressed with Eager Beaver's service. They did a nice job cleaning the vents, were right on time, were a good value and were easy to work with. This is the second time I have used them, and I will continue to.

We recently purchased a 20 year old house and decided to have our air ducts cleaned. The tech caught a major issue that the large, reputable HVAC company we had had service the HVAC system only 4 days prior had missed - our duct system under the furnace was rusted out. Eager Beaver takes the time and attention to detail that other companies fail to. We will absolutely use them again.

I purchased a Big Deal. Once I contacted Eager Beaver to schedule, everything was very smooth and professional. They offered a dryer vent cleaning for an additional $25 to their Angie's List clients, which I decided to purchase as well. The communication from the company kept me in the loop, including a follow-up reminder the day before because I had scheduled a couple of weeks in advance. Kristen let me know the name of my tech, and color of vehicle and trailer he'd be driving so I'd know it was them. Mike called me 15 minutes before he was to arrive to let me know his previous job had kept him over a little longer than expected, and that he'd be there about 15 minutes later than planned. He was courteous, friendly and professional. Before starting, he went over what he'd be doing, what the charges would be for the extra vents the deal didn't cover, and the dryer vent cleaning. He finished on time, left everything very clean, and showed me the junk that had collected in the furnace. No wonder our allergies were bad and there was dust everywhere in the house, all the time! Let me know that the vents should be good for 5-8 years, and that he'd put a sticker on the furnace to remind us at the 4 year mark. Also helpfully let me know to make sure and get a dryer vent cover for the house exterior to keep critters out, and that Home Depot carried them. He went over the final bill which was exactly what he'd said it would be at the start. All in all, a very good experience, and I'd definitely recommend Eager Beaver Duct Cleaners in the future!

I am satisfied with their work. The work was done well. We were concerned about getting our new flooring marked up, but the technician was very carefule, wore booties, and did a good job cleaning up whatever mess was left behind. I had a difficult time removing a stubborn hardwood air duct register but the technician helped with that and eventually was able to remove it. The technician was knowledgeable about all the ducts and the furnace too - even pointed out some problems with the venting system that I should be aware of. I would hire this company again.

We had moved in a month before and wanted to get the ducts cleaned out since the previous owners had cats and didn't seem to have been that tidy. They were on time, pulled out lots of dust and hair and seem to have done a great job.
