How refreshing to call for an appointment, reach a person directly on the phone, and have the visit scheduled for the following day instead of 9+ months out like many doctor appointments nowadays! Jim showed up at the beginning of the window of time, which I appreciated very much. He was professional, personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was able to reprogram the existing keypad that I thought was no longer working rather than sell me a new one. He programmed a new remote opener and offered to program the garage door opener in my car, which was an added bonus. Jim also performed a routine service inspection on my garage door and gave me an idea of what would eventually need to be replaced in the next few years. He did all of that in less than 30 minutes. I used Dave's Garage Doors six times in a 20-year period at my former home. I highly recommend them.

Great service. Called on Monday and they were out first thing on Tuesday. Service tech called ahead and was on time. Was very knowledgeable, quickly repaired the problem, and did an overall tuneup. Effectively answered several of my detail questions. I used these guys about 4 years ago for a door spring replacement and got similar service then. Wouldn't hesitate to call again for future garage door needs.

Everything went well. Everything I would expect. Same day service, professional work, upgrade weak areas. They were at least $40 more that other bids, but professional quick and no drama. would use again.

I called them to get a bid on a new garage door. They told me the typical price range and I asked if that was my bid or if someone come out to give me the exact price. I was told that since they had been at my house before to replace my garage door opener they probably had my door measurements and someone would call me back. I didn't hear back that day so I called the next day to ask if they actually came out and did bids for new doors. The woman I talked to said that I had to accept their estimate over the phone before they would come out to measure my door. I told her that the person I talked to the day before had said that someone would be calling me back and she said she would check around the office to see if anyone had my information. I have not heard anything from them. It doesn't seem like they really want to replace any garage doors during the pandemic and if that is the case I wish they would have just told me that from the start.

It was excellent. For the garage door opener, it was an old one. He tried to replace the parts. He suggested in the future we buy a new one. He gave us different options, based on our usage he gave us one that was the best priced option.

Andrew arrived on time and went right to work replacing the old and non-functional garage door opener. He did a great job, and helped me set up the HomeLink control in my car for the new opener.

Great. I submitted request for bid on a Saturday night and Dave called me within a couple of hours. Same night! He arrived Sunday morning and made repairs. He saved me having to be late for work on Monday. He made the whole thing easy.

They were the only service that answered the phone on Saturday when the door broke. They tried to get a tech out that day but couldn't until Monday morning. The tech arrived within an acceptable window and quickly diagnosed the problem. He advised that we replace both springs as the second often breaks shortly after the first and the cost would be significantly less to replace both at once. He also advised replacing the bearings. Checking and tightening all bolts and lubing the tracks was included. The work was done reasonably quickly. The door is much quieter now. I thought the price of $295 for all work was reasonable. The work recommended seemed appropriate. We have not done anything to/for the door since moving in 15 1/2 years ago.

Very well. The worker was prompt and efficient. He explained everything he needed to do and how long it would take. My only complaint is that the 10% discount for Senior Citizens listed on Angie's List pertains only to labor. That should be explained better.

We are highly satisfied with our experience with Dave’s Garage Doors. I called them on a Friday figuring they would be able to schedule us a couple of weeks out. They were actually able to schedule for the next day Saturday. They gave us a window of 10:00 - 2:00 for the tech to arrive with a call from them beforehand to let us know when they would get to our house. We got a call shortly before 10:00 saying he was on his way. Ted the technician got here at 10:15. Fantastic! As I described the situation to Ted I was thinking that a new garage door opener unit would be needed. But as we talked he told me the existing unit could be repaired. That saved us a few hundred dollars. Excellent! He did the work as explained and got the whole garage door and opener system working far better than it was before the most recent problem cropped up. Ted was friendly, professional and very helpful. The job came in for a lot less than I was expecting to have to shell out. We highly recommend Dave’s for any garage door work you need.

He replaced it with a new version which took some modification. Then readjusted every thing. He was wonderful! AND same day!

Andrew was our installer and exceeded expectations. He was very punctual, polite and helpful. They came out and got the door openers installed the very next day as it fit their schedule. The openers were quiet, and excellent lighting for the garage. Andrew even helped us link the garage door to our car. Totally recommend!

I called to schedule an appointment and Drew arrived about 25 minutes later. How about that for responsiveness. Prices all seemed reasonable to me and he went to work replacing the opener, springs, and all other old hardware. A few hours later, he finished up and all looks great! After discovering that my garage door would not open after activating the automatic door opener, I consulted Angie's List and contacted Dave's Garage Doors, Inc. The lady who answered the phone courteous and helpful and able to arrange a technician to be out later that same afternoon. Jason, the technician arrived on time. He immediately identified the problem, answered all my questions, and fixed the door by replacing the springs. His professionalism and efficient manner in which he carried out his job was admirable and would make me contact Dave's again should another issue arise

We've used other companies in the past and this was the 2nd time we've had issues with our garage door spring. The last time we had our spring replaced was about 2-3 years ago. At that time we weren't advised to get a dual spring for our 2 car garage, but after speaking with Dave's and got their recommendation of why two springs is better, it was a clear that it needed it. Great customer service, knowledge staff and very punctual. thx we will use them again for our garage door needs.

I could not be happier. Greg came out on time and was extremely knowledgeable. He gave me an estimate and explained what needed to be done. His was the same price or lower that the others gave. The other guys would only replace the springs then leave. I got a whole lot more at that price. Greg knew what needed to be done to keep my Garage Door and me safe.
