They did a great job and worked quickly. The fence looks great and I was very pleased.

We had them out to do a free estimate, which we appreciated. Daniel Cosma came out & gave us a very professional explanation & a then very detailed email of what would be done during the original estimate back in November. Before we could start work we had to have a surveyor come out & reset a couple points. Then tree trimmers had to come out to make room for the fence. Then we were ready to measure to see the exact length of the fence. I called back with the new measurements which reduced the price & Daniel called back to let me know when they could get started. The two men he sent out were every bit as good as I'd envisioned after meeting with Daniel. They cleaned up after themselves well. They also did a good job setting the posts in concrete. I'm most pleased.

I left an email through Angie's List and received a call back to schedule an estimate for the next day. Daniel showed up promptly to give me an estimate for a portion of my fence that had blown down weeks ago when it was windy. There were sections of fence on the ground and other sections leaning against the trees. I only wanted to replace the sections that had fallen. Daniel explained how the posts were rotted, what need to be fixed, how he would fix it, etc. He didn't try to talk me into replacing the rest of the fence because he said it was ok for now. What was really nice was that he noticed that the latch on my gate was broken and he said that he would fix that and any other little things that needed to be done. The work was scheduled for the following week and his crew showed up on time. They did a great job, fixed the latch on the gate and even replaced a broken board on my picket fence. What a great experience!

I hired Daniel to build a cedar fence and a gate for one side of my property to completely enclose my yard (I had an existing cedar fence on two sides of my yard). When I decided to undertake the project, I called Daniel and received a prompt reply. He provided a fair estimate and his people completed the work on time, did a thorough job, and cleaned up at the end of the day. I couldn't ask for better service.

After purchasing his coupon, we called Daniel to introduce ourselves and to tell him that we didn't want the work done until the spring. He happened to be in our area for a different project and offered to come by for a preliminary consultation. He arrived promptly and we showed him what we wanted done. He took measurements, discussed possible materials and brought in what sample books he happened to have with him that we might want to consider. He was knowledgeable and flexible, and we feel very comfortable with our choice. We will report again after the project is completed.

Daniel came out as soon as possible to give us an estimate. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the different options that would work. He gave us his recommended approach but did not try to up-sell us on anything. He took his time with us and was very helpful when educating us about how he puts fence posts in (in a concrete footing, which prevents the rotting that had caused our problem). He suggested it would be cheaper for us if he could use one of his subcontractors for our small, straightforward project; we agreed. John, who came to do the repairs, was very punctual and professional and did a great job, working steadily in mucky, cold conditions to get the job done in one day. When we decided a couple days later that we needed a little more reinforcement on the bottom of the gate (to contain our dog), Daniel/John readily agreed to come back. John came back immediately and added the reinforcement we were looking for (plus some extra), at no additional charge. The new fence and gate look great! We will definitely use Daniels Custom Fences, Decks and Construction for future projects. (The fact that they offer a 15% discount on jobs to repeat customers is a bonus!)

Overall, impressed with the quality of the work and the fence they built. They did a nice job removing the old fence, cleaning up the area and carting everything away. Considering how nice a job they did, I plan to use them again to replace the back fence and build a deck and an outdoor patio as well.

The fence around our home was 25 years old in places, falling apart, unstable, unsightly, unsellable! We had a good experience with discussions of design and price. As my neighbors got engaged, there were various last-minute adjustments, all handled gracefully. The actual crew was impressively efficient, professional, and easy to work with.

I left a message and Daniel returned my call within a day. I happened to have some time off work on the subsequent two days and Daniel was very accommodating in that he was willing to come provide an estimate on relatively short notice. The estimate was on par with previous estimates I had had, but after factoring in an Angie's List discount, their bid was among the best. Daniel was very informative and professional is all respects (which wasn't true for the other bidders). Because I have dogs, the broken fence was very inconvenient for me, but Daniel and his team were able to work me in such that I only had to wait about a week once I accepted the bid. The workers arrived at about 8:30am on the agreed upon day, and worked most of that day to complete the job. The results were very nice and the workers cleaned up the area afterwards. I was very happy with the process, from start to finish, and would readily use Daniel's Fencing in the future.

Daniel arrived at the scheduled time and my husband greeted him. He was at our home just a few minutes. My husband asked for a particular type of gate, which Daniel said would require some research. Daniel asked that we email him later that day and he would respond with the bid. His office manager responded by email 4 days later. I had some additional questions on different types of gates and pricing. Several questions took days for a response. The start date was quoted in the first email and the company met that date. However, I would have appreciated a quicker response time for my questions. The 2 men arrived promptly, were very professional, and completed the work within 2 hours.

Problems with getting customers bids.

we asked Daniel to build a fence to match an existing patio and a fence along our property line. He was very professional, the crew was exceptionally hard working and did a beautiful job.

Daniel's was very good at explaining the building process and followed through on all we agreed upon. The price quote was not the most expensive, but it also wasn't the cheapist. I chose Daniel's because they went over and above by explaining everything they would be doing as well as their focus to the details. The workers were on time and very professional at all times. I hope to use Daniel's Custom Fences, Decks & Construction to replace some fencing next year.

We had been looking to finish off some fencing around our home and received a few estimates before coming across Daniel's Angie's List coupon. Previous estimates were too expensive for our budget. With the coupon, we were able to save $650 on the cost of the fence. I contacted Daniel and made arrangements for the fence. We had to wait a few weeks due to the busyness of his schedule as a result of the coupon. That was not a problem for us. I consulted with Daniel over the phone and sent along a design that we wanted to use. Daniel gave me an estimate for that design which we felt was quite reasonable with the coupon savings. On the scheduled date, Daniel and his craftsman, Gabe, arrived as scheduled. We discussed the final details of the project and Gabe set about constructing the fence. On the first day, he set all the posts and on the second day, he completed the fences and the two gates. The fence looks great and was carefully constructed. Gabe is a meticulous worker and worked through rain and into the darkness to complete the project. We are very pleased with the look of the fence and the quality of construction and would call Daniels again for another fencing project.

if I could do it over I would not have hired them. scabbed boards together. Left a 4in gap at the bottom which is frustrating with small dogs who like to get out. The section with the gate was not built the way we wanted dicussed at day of bid and the day they started. The gate is crpoked with hing too big so 3in off the board. They did picture frame the gate the panel to the right but not the panel to the left. Unfinished. A lot of the boards slit right away. In trying to adress these issue they did not come out when they said they would. Didn't return phone calls. Finally got them to come back once to replace the spit board and was told as far as the gap put bark dust down ( so more money out of my pocket and not my landscape plan). The gate they were not going to fix unless it stopped working. There profession is building fences and gates but yet it's ok to hang crooked gates. . . .

Just this year, we had used Daniel's Custom fencing to install a wrought iron gate & fence plus a small deck. They did such an excellent job that I phoned them because a large section of my fence was very unstable. Daniel came over and we looked at all of my fencing and discussed what really needed to be replaced now rather than later. Within a few days, I had an estimate and felt that it was more than reasonable. They were running a special on Angie's List so they gave me that discount plus I received an additional 15% repeat customer discount. They demoed and hauled away the old fence and started on the retaining wall. It was a large job and took about 3 days. They were very professional, cleaned up the job site and they did an excellent job.

The work was well done but the workers got confused about where to stop and start. They fixed the mistake at no charge to me so overall I had no complaints when they finished.

Dan came by the day after I requested an estimate. He reviewed the job with me and provided an estimate on the spot. He indicated it would be a few weeks before his crew could do the work. I explained that I had just moved in with a dog that needed to be outside, so sooner would be better. He said he would try to work me into the schedule as soon as possible. I was pleasantly surprised that 10 days later I had my fence. It is attractive and appears to be well built. Daniels' crew of two men did all of the work in about a half day. They had to remove some limbs and branches and did a good clean up, too.

Daniel was on time(early) for the estimate. He was friendly and knowledgable. He warned me the work would be about a month out. I was fine with this. I received a bid about a week later via email. The bid included several options and price points for each. I decided to go with approx 90 linear feet of picture frame fencing with a matching gate at $2200.00. The price seemed very reasonable, and I could tell from other reviews and photos on the website, that this would be a beautiful fence. He originally gave me an available start date of 8/22, which was perfect for me. I emailed this back to him. Did not hear back so I sent a follow up email confirming the date. He told me he had me down for 8/23 to start. I told him this was fine. I did not receive any calls or emails prior to the start date confirming the work and time they would be here. I thought this was odd, but went with the flow. I assumed they would be here early on the start day, so I was ready for them. I waited...and waited...and waited. They never showed up. I debated over calling later that day to see what happened, but instead decided this was a sign to move on. To be fair, I did receive voicemail from Daniel about a WEEK later. He stated that he realized they never showed up for the job, apologized, and offered to reschedule sometime in mid to late September. I couldn't believe I waited a month, they didn't show, and then I was offered another start date almost another month out. I'm certain that they build beautiful and quality fences, but I got the feeling that my business was not all that important to them.

Daniel met with us several times, before we decided to go ahead with the project. He was patient with our questions and did a good job of informing us about what to expect. The work started sooner than we hoped and that was a nice surprise. As mentioned the crew was punctual and professional. We were impressed with their effort and skill. The framing for the deck is extremely solid and well thought out. We selected TimberTech decking and it turned out beautiful. The deck boards are spaced evenly and the angles ,where sections of the deck meet, are perfectly true. Great care and planning by the crew made the end product remarkable. Overall, we are happy and thankful that we found Daniels Custom (an Angie's List referral) to do the work for us.

After looking at various companies and reading the reviews on Angie's list, I decided to phone two companies to get estimates. I set up an appointment with Daniel from Daniels Custom Fences for a Saturday. He showed up on time plus he had various decking samples to show me which was quite helpful in trying to pick out a color that matched our house. For the fence, I didn't already have a fence in place. He took measurements and we went over exactly what I wanted. When he prepared the estimate, he included three different ornamental fencing options which was great for me to visualize. I chose Daniels Custom because not once did Daniel make any remarks about it being a small job, I was impressed with Daniels professionalism and the price was reasonable and within a few hundred dollars of the other company. They installed the new fence, gate and deck within one day. They left the job site clean and they were very professional. We will be using Daniels Custom again in the future for our fencing and decking needs.

Daniel was quick to respond, took the time to listen to my needs, worked with me on price, moved his schedule around to fit me immediate need, gave me good advice on the specs I needed, and did a great job.
