Description of Work: I had just gotten a shepard puppie and I wanted a small fence and gate put in. the next day they did the work. It was done to our satisfaction. And the price was a lot less then the other bids I had gotten. Quite pleased.

Description of Work: In April before the deadline of the coupon, my first contact was answered by voice mail. No return of phone call for 2 weeks. Set appointment for estimate to be done. 2 weeks later an employee arrived speaking broken English, hard to understand and not able to explain much to me. He took a long time in his truck to calculate the estimate and return to my door with the original estimate amounting to $1,850.00. When I received no further follow-up from them I called and requested to speak to the owner. I told them I had an Angie's List coupon. I was also worried about the date the coupon expired. I was told they would honor it and not to worry. They set up an appointment. I did not hear, by email or otherwise, from him for over 2 weeks. At that point, I called the office to request a return call from him. They requested I call his cell phone. I did, getting voice mail, saying he was unavailable. When he did return my call, he asked me to call the office again to get an appointment. I did and they gave me the date of Friday May 17th. Daniel phoned me on the 16th asking to cancel the appointment and accept a written proposal by email. He told me he could do this estimate over the phone. I objected to this. I stated I wanted him to come to my property in person, due to unclarity of the first estimate, as well as additions and changes of material I needed to make, before moving forward. He insisted on sending me an estimate via email. I did not receive the estimate via email until I contacted them. Ann of the office then called me to say she had sent the email, however it did not arrive until after that conversation and did not reflect any of the changes I had discussed with Daniel. It was exactly the same materials and amt of footage as the first estimate, but this second estimate was for $2,850. This was exactly $1,000.00 more than the original. When I objected to the increase the office person told me the materials had doubled in the last month. Having spent a month since the beginning of April trying to get this straight with no accurate results and no date for the project even started, I am done trying to work with them and disappointed in their business.

Description of Work: I wasn't very happy with the quote given me related to work that had a coupon for labor on job. Neighbor on one side arranged fence job for 116ft at approx $2000 price and Daniel quoted me the same price for only 58ft job on other side. I felt he was overcharging, that negated benefit of the coupon.

Description of Work: I called and Daniel called me back came out and bid the job on short notice. He and a worker came out on a Sunday to accommodate my schedule. They were there for two hours, built a panel and a gate, poured the concrete and cleaned up. The gate matched my existing fencing and is really functional in a tight area. They also fixed my other gate where the original builder split the framing and the lock was loose. I'll recommend them to anyone for fences and gates.

Description of Work: Daniel's crew tore down an ugly and deteriorating old fence and built a beautiful new one using excellent red cedar. Work was meticulous. Everything was perfect--no complaints whatsoever. Neat and tidy. John was the hardest worker we have ever seen--just knocked himself out to get it done and get it done to perfection. Not an easy job by any means. Both members of the crew were great! We will call them again for a new porch this summer. Very happy customers. Very reasonable price, especially given the size of the fence and the complexity of the job. Thank you, Daniel's.

Description of Work: They put in new fence and repaired part of an old fence.

Description of Work: I purchased a $350 coupon from Angie's list good for $1000 towards deck refinishing. The estimate for my deck repair was $7700. This seemed outrageous and made the coupon relatively worthless. Upon complaining, a revised estimate (with less work) came to $3750. I did not know whether this was with or without the "savings" of the coupon. I am now in further contact with Daniel and he kindly extended my coupon. We are meeting again to se if we can work out service and price to satisfy us both. I will revise my report once again after we work things out.
