He initially came out to give an estimate and it was a reasonable cost. Then, when he came back, he didn't remember anything that he told us the first time. He was supposed to go get parts and come back the next day and he never did. He's told us 3 other times that he would be back at specific times and days, but he never came back. We even talked with him this morning and he said he would be here after lunch and he never showed. We are having guests over this weekend and now we don't have a stove, since he won't come back. I've been trying to get this done since Tuesday, now it is Friday afternoon and we have nothing.

So before he could finish packing up, I asked about the dishwasher leaking, he then said I don't see it leaking as if I was lying to him. Then when my husband asked him about the heating element, he turned to his training manual and showed me the first box on the flow chart suggesting we use a rinse aid to enhance the performance. I said that would only help with the residue and pointed him to the next box which suggested using a higher cycle and told him that we had been using the highest cycle. That's when the guy went crazy on us. He started YELLING at me, yes yelling at me in my own kitchen that "I was not smarter than the manual or those that write them, and I should use rinse aid and if I'm not happy to call the home warranty people that referred him". So I did call my home warranty and I could not in good faith ever think of a reason ANYONE should use this company for anything. The guy was completely clueless on the appliance and unacceptably offensive.
Description of Work: DAK was supposed to check out our LG dishwasher. The dishwasher was not removing food from the dishes, was not drying, and it was leaking on an intermediate basis. DAK showed up with a training manual full of flow charts to help diagnose the problems. He did find that the intake water line was clogged for the dishwasher, so that should help the dishwasher have more spraying power to remove food particles. We will see the next time we run the dishwasher. Then he started to pack up before addressing the other problems. See the next section for the rest of the story.

He was a nice guy. Professional. It took a long time to get the job done right. Several weeks and we had some problems getting a hold of him etc. In the end he fixed it.
Description of Work: He was sent to us by our home warranty company. The timer on a stove went out and therefore the stove would not go to ''clean'' cycle. He tried to repair it but it failed again. So he ordered a new one and replaced it.

WHILE THE OFFICE HELP WAS FRIENDLY, THIS COMPANY WAS A NIGHTMARE IN EVERY OTHER REGARD. ONCE THEY LOOKED AT THE APPLIANCES, IT TOOK THEM OVER A MONTH TO DO ANYTHING. THEY GAVE US THE RUN-A-ROUND FOR WEEKS ABOUT PARTS AVAILABILITY, WOULDN'T RETURN CALLS, MADE APPOINTMENTS, AND REPEATEDLY NEVER SHOWED, ALWAYS HAD AN EXCUSE, AND NEW STORY. THEY SHOWED UP TWICE, AND FIXED BOTH APPLIANCES INCORRECTLY. THIS WAS THROUGH OUR HOME WARRANTY, AND THE WARRANTY SERVICE REFUSED TO PULL THESE PEOPLE OFF THE JOB ONCE THEY STARTED. WE FINALLY GAVE UP AFTER THE OWNER HIMSELF INSTALLED A GASKET ON THE DISHWASHER BACKWARDS, AND IT LEAKED ALL OVER UNDER OUR SINK AND CABINETS. PAID OUT OF POCKET, CALLED ANOTHER COMPANY WHO WAS OUT IN A WEEK AND HAD EVERYTHING FIXED CORRECTLY. A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE.
