+ -1 moreI put everything back together at home, and the problem repeated. I called him about it and he agreed with my suspicion that it was the power supply. I asked, if he had an appropriate unit he could sell me, and he checked online, while we spoke and directed me to CompUSA, which happened to have a much better deal at the moment, for the same unit, that he would have sold me, telling me that he couldn't sell his to me in good conscience, knowing that I could get a much better price for it just down the road (almost 50% less that what he had to sell it for). I got the power supply from CompUSA and installed it, and my problem was cured.
Description of Work: My computer would not boot at all, and I suspected a failed motherboard or power supply. I took it in to this shop, after calling, and Jim spotted a piece that needed to be soldered back on to the motherboard. He did this, while I waited and tested it with a power supply and video card of his.

+ -1 moreSAVED MY LIFE. ALL MY DATA WAS RECOVERED AFTER ANOTHER COMPANY HERE IN TOWN TOLD ME IT WOULD BE $2000.00. COMPUTER WHOLESALE GOT ALL MY DATA BACK FOR $250.00. THESE ARE PROFESSIONALS. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE ELSE, IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR DATA AGAIN FOR LESS THAN $500.00. I CALLED EVERYONE.
