Due to extensive and unexpected dry rot, the deck rebuild turned out to be a complete tear down and rebuild, rather than a partial rebuild. The contractor was very reasonable, however, in calculating additional charges for added time and materials. He kept to his promised time schedule and always tidied up at the end of each day's work. I was particularly impressed with his attention to detail. He and his workers seemed to take great pride in doing an impeccable job on both the rebuild and on the painting, including the paint prep work and priming.

We had 13 rooms and two hallways painted with two coats of high grade paint. They started on time and finished the whole job as expected accounting for the expanded job as mentioned above. The crew moved all the heavy items as needed. Small things like removing electrical outlet faceplates were appreciated. They did not take any shortcuts and the job turned out beautiful.

Came with great ideas for our windows and the exterior paint. Measured every window and seemed interested in the job. Have received no estimate so all I can assume is that he did not want the job. Basically my time was wasted.

We had recently installed bamboo floors in most of our home and we were waiting until we painted all the walls before we put in all the baseboards. We were looking for someone to do the work pretty quickly after getting quotes and Chandler was one of the companies we contacted to bid the work. I believe I contacted Tim, the owner, by email on a Tuesday, he came in and he came over to look at what we were looking to have done that Thursday. Unlike the other company we chose to give us a bid, he was on time. He gave us a quote within 24 - 48 hours. I gave him the OK to do the job that Saturday and he was at our house to complete the paperwork on Monday with someone to start working a few hours later. The job was completed that Thursday (9 days after I asked for a quote) and this included installing baseboard, caulking and painting in 3 bedrooms, 5 closet, a hallway and a living room. His crew even touched up the paint on my walls which was very important to me after all the painting I did! The other guys wouldn't touch up the wall paint, charged more and were pretty late! They were always on time, dealt with supplier issues effectively, were very knowledgeable, and the installation was ready to be finished without any sanding. I was very happy with the fit and finish.
