Description of Work: Great company, very responsive, amazing service and price. Our grandson pulled up an edge thread of low-matte wool carpet and started unraveling it. we called Carpet Surgeon based on Angie's List recommendation, and they responded quickly, came right out, and not only patched the carpet to where you could not see any trace of damage, but (without charge) touched up a couple of other areas on the carpet which could cause a similar incident later. We even plan to use them for our next carpet cleaning since they have a high reputation there as well!

Description of Work: Will definitely use Carpet Surgeons again and have recommended them to a few friends.We had our carpet steam cleaned as per the manufacturers warranty stipulation. Very pleasant young man completed the job. Was surprised by the ridges temporarily created in our carpet - which subsided after 24- 48 hours. Apparently this happens frequently but never having my new carpet steamed I was worried it was permanently damaged. The owner was very helpful through this process and really professional.

He made suggestions that would complete the job, costing less and making it even better than what I thought, I have used him many times before and will use him many times in the future. He is reasonable, family owned, professional,prompt and responsive to any problems that may occur at a later date.

Description of Work: My very elderly cat had been peeing in a room and I didn't notice for a couple of weeks. The smell was terrible and after trying everything to get it out myself, I called The Carpet Surgeon. They arrived on time, Nick was very clean cut and professional. He quickly assessed the problem and got right to work. He pulled back the carpet, took out a big chunk of pad, treated the sub-floor with Kilz, laid down new pad and new tack strip, cleaned the front and back of the carpet twice and restretched the carpet. It took about two hours and it completely fixed the problem. My quilt room now smells fresh and clean again, even after several warm days with the door shut. It was well worth the $250. Highly recommend!! |

Description of Work: Cleaned and resealed tiled entry area (approx. 500 sq ft) repaired damaged grout. The area had not been stripped and clean since we bought the house 20+ years ago. A buildup of sealed in dirt and grim needed to be removed. They had special tools for that purpose and a unit the wetvac and cleaned the area prior to resealing the tile. The wife is happy what more can I say. They did a good job.

Description of Work: I originally used this compan y(upon reference from a neighbor) to repair come burns in my carpet from my woodstove. Was very happy with the results. When I saw they also cleaned carpets, I gave them a try. They were able to remove cooking oil stains my previous cleaner said were impossible. Price is reasonable. Gettin' ready to schedule them again.

Description of Work: Cleaned newly installed used carpet, a very dirty pale celery green. Carpet Surgeon company team cleaned it and enzyme treated the stains. The top quality carpet was only two years old when replaced by the new owners. The only problem with the late January job is that the Portland area has had almost constant rain for several weeks and the carpet is taking several days to dry. It would be better to do a job like this when the weather is drier.

CLEANING PERSON VERY CAREFUL IN MOVING TWO GLASS TABLES (VERY HEAVY). HE HAD THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT TO EASILY, CAREFULLY MOVE FURNITURE. THE CARPET LOOKS LOVELY AND I'M VERY PLEASED THIS IS THE MOST I HAVE PAID FOR CARPET CLEANING, HOWEVER, IT IS THE BEST!
