 + -1 moreIn my opinion the machine is not in good shape for the price paid. It is old enough that it can only run BootCamp 4 and Windows 7. The video card is hardly state of the art. Brainwave has worked on the machine a couple times and has offered us store credit toward something else. My complaint about Brainwave is the advice which resulted in us buying this machine at all. The money spent would go a lot further toward a used PC laptop or even a new PC laptop which would be a lot less finicky about drivers and would run newer software. If you want bad advice, threats to call the police when you complain, and emotional blackmail about your online review then by all means, Brainwave should be your first stop.
Description of Work: For my nephew's birthday my sister wanted to buy a laptop to run Steam on Windows which he could take to gaming parties. She went to Brainwave to buy a used PC laptop and was told instead to buy a used MacBook Pro. She ended up with a seven year old MacBook Pro running Windows 7.
