Description of Work: They repaired broken vinyl siding on house exterior, replaced broken sheetrock on garage ceiling and installed additional handrail on interior stairs to 2nd floor that precisely matched existing handrail. Their work was timely, of excellent quality, and reasonably priced. I would employ them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: I have used Big Jim's service several times. He always provides outstanding value and service. This time he fixed a bunch of nagging repair jobs: replaced 2 light fixtures, repaired cabinet door hinge that had pulled from the wall, fixed 3 bedroom doors where hinges which had come loose, replace toilet flappers. After examining the problems he went to Home Depot and purchased parts and fixtures. The cost includes parts/materials and labor.

Description of Work: Master bath remodel - we bought all the parts, then had Jim do the work. New tub, shower surround, shower fixtures, new toilet, new floor - excellent workmanship and very nice man. We are having him return this month for some odds and ends we'll never get around to doing ourselves.

Description of Work: Big Jim solved a leak in the siding of my house. It involved tearing and replacing of half of the siding on the south side of my house, resealing around windows and adding house wrap where there previously was none. This was on a steep hillside where the house is 3 stories tall. He got the job done despite the rain and cold of November. I would use him again.

Description of Work: Jim has been working on several windows that were improperly installed by the builder. This caused water damage under the siding and window trim. Jim had to remove the trim and reinstall the windows to allow proper drainage. There are a couple more windows to go before the job is complete. He also replaced a worn out gate at the side of the house. He will also replace some of the roofing shingles that blew off during the last high wind storm that we experienced. So far, he's done an outstanding job, and we are very pleased with his workmanship , knowledge and attitude. We highly recommend Big Jim to anyone needing home repairs. J & C Williams

Description of Work: We thought a minor repair ito our siding was required due to "woodpecker damage". Luckily Jim was one of the home repair people who assessed our situation. His assessment of the damage was so "right on" compared to those who gave the situation a cursory glance. He uncovered extensive dry rot and was able to show us the original construction problems which caused this damage. The woodpecker actually did us a favor, a portion of our house was rotting badly. HGTV taught us enough to appreciate the extent of the problem and Jim did an excellent job repairing and replacing the places that were in BAD shape. Jim and his wife, Chris were present on the job when they said they would be. They were not only professional but personable. We are delighted when we can give our hard earned money to people who deserve it.

Description of Work: Jim replaced a section of vinyl siding that had been torn when a large pickup backed into my driveway and hit the edge of myneighbor's condo. Jim called me back promptly when I made the initial call and came out to access the damage the next day. Within two days the siding was replaced, and the color was a perfect match. Jim is professional, friendly, and I'll recommend him to friends, and I would hire him again for other home repair and maintenance jobs.
