Best Marble & Granite Co

We ran into a problem while hiring a plumber to install a new stainless steel sink in our kitchen. The hole in the counter top was not large enough for the new sink, but the plumber had already removed the old sink and the plumbing. The plumber had no way to cut the stone. I called Best Marble & Granite around 1:30 to ask for help cutting the granite. Despite the fact that they were very busy with other projects, they sent somebody to our home the same day, after hours, to help us out. He called me twice to update his arrival time. Once here, he took measurements, cut the hole, cleaned up after himself and was on his way within 30 minutes. It was a total life saver! Super friendly and professional young man. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The owner of the company definitely knows what he is doing. However, they were some problems on my job. One of the sinks was a very unique sink. I made a complete template of the countertop so if they followed my template, they would make the correct cuts to place the sink. Unfortunately, the installer failed to follow my template, which resulted in a large gap at the edge of the sink. They ended up repairing it with a piece of granite and some glue. It ended up looking okay, but I was irritated that I had taken the time to make the template and they did not use it, and ended up cutting the hole incorrectly. I was also unhappy with the caulk along the back of the countertop. The seam along the backsplash was caulked with the completely wrong color. I pointed it out as they were putting it in, but the installer was adamant that it was the correct color. We went back and forth, and I finally spoke with the owner, who said they would come back and put in the correct color. They did and it looked good, but I did not think it was right that the installer was willing to put in the completely wrong color instead. I really liked the owner but I did not like the way they did work, and I will not be dealing with them again.

Best Marble and Granite was a sub for our recent bathroom remodel. They have a small show room in a business park with their fabrication equipment in back. The price of the Best granite was lower than that of the local big box home store. They have a range of colors and offer better pricing on precut slabs. When you go to their office you talk directly to the owner who is very helpful and knowledgeable. They have been in business for many years. After agreeing to the type and color of sample and slab, they came to our home an measured the old countertop. When our cabinet installation date slipped, they agreed to install the slab the day after our new cabinet was installed. They arrived on time and installed the slab and the undermount sinks in a few hours. We are very pleased with our new granite countertop.
