Description of Work: Recently completed a 650 square foot unfinished basement renovation, providing a home theater, wine tasting room and audio-video closet. Sebastian did all of the painting, including walls, ceilings, a large cabinet, doors, and some very detailed trim. He was very helpful selecting color and sheen (very important in the home theater to minimize light reflections from the screen.). The painting was done in three phases: 1) walls and ceilings after the completion of drywall; 2) cabinets and trim after installation of the finished mill work, cabinets and doors; and 3) final touch up after all of the other subcontractors were completed. The mill work in the theater room was finished in a very dark, low-sheen oil based enamel. The mill work in the other two rooms were finished in a low-sheen off-white color. The large cabinet was yet another low-sheen oil based enamel color. Double doors between the theater room and a small vestibule were painted off-white on the outside and dark brown on the inside. Sebastian took much care to insure that the none of the off-white color could be seen from inside the theater. The third and final phase was a real challenge for Sebastian after the theater base trim and doors were severely damaged by the carpet installers. Sebastian had to build a spray booth within the room working around installed carpet, home theater chairs, a mounted projector and screen and other light fixtures in order to re-spray the damaged base trim.

Description of Work: Company provided full service of color consultation, pressure washing, full prep including; scraping, sanding, caulking, priming, and painting two coats of paints on all surfaces. All while doing so in a manner that was compliant with the new EPA lead-based paint guidelines and requirements.
