This was an excellent company to use. They were very professional and courteous while they were here. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had two estimates given; theirs was higher but I really wanted to use their services as they had been given a good reference by a friend. Bill worked with me on the price to get it close enough and we scheduled the work. The technician was very professional and did a great job. He really knows his stuff! It all happened in one DAY! I was impressed. The job was done, the inspector came out and the technician came back and finished. I got my stove installed that night!

I replaced my kitchen countertops and sink. My contractor wasn't able to connect the new sink to the water supply because of differences in the sizes of existing tubes and the new sink. Therefore I called Anctil Plumbing to do the job because I had used their services before and was satisfied with the work their work. I called them in the morning and the plumber was there within an hour and a half. The work went smoothly, although cost more than I had anticipated because of unforeseen difficulties. The only thing that I don't like about the company's policies is that they charge 15 minutes of travel time so that the actual "on the job" time is only 45. (They are up front about this.) Despite this policy I will continue to hire them because I have confidence in their work, and they are always on time, and professional.

They were very responsive. They were out that day. They were very prompt, friendly, professional and neat. They gave me some references for other things.

The work was fabulous. It was kind of interesting though, because they were here for honestly less than 5 minutes and they fixed the problem. That was great, but I was surprised that it cost $108! But they fixed it, so I just paid it. One thing that I learned was that in the future I'm going to be sure I understand the charges. Another thing that was interesting to me is that they subcontracted this work to another plumber. When the guy came, he wasn't from Anctil. So I called them and they told me yeah, they subcontract to that company in this area. It all worked out fine, but I wasn't thrilled with the way it worked.

The bid they gave me was very high and I ended up being able to do the work on my own. They didn't like the plumbing work another plumber had when my washer was installed and wanted redo that. It seemed they wanted to redo everything. The install of the water heater was ok.

I was impressed with the positive comments that I read on Angie's List. I gave them a call and they came to my house to give me an estimate. They were able to do the work quickly and recommended the brand of hot water heater. I have not had any problems with either item since installation. It was a good experience.

Overall they did a great job. They were honest and very prompt. We were going to go with another company from Angie's List, but they were going to take too long. We ended up going with Anctil Plumbing, and if I had to use this company again I would. They came out the same day we called and it took them about an hour to finish it completely.

They are the nicest people you will ever meet. They told us what type of bath room fixtures and even what type of bath tissue to use to keep our pipes from backing up. I have used them for past twenty years and would never use any one else.

Each time I called, Anctil came a day later. They were on-time both times, and clearly explained work. First time we replaced the PT valve since it was acting like it was old (leak). The plumber also suggested how I could get a simple $10 pressure measuring gauge to see if the leak was being caused by something else (in case the PT value was actually doing the right thing - it's job). The next day the new PT valve started leaking, so I got the gauge, used it around the house, and discovered my water tank was over-pressuring when the hot water was used. Calling Anctil again they suggested replacing the water heater and the expansion tank, or just the expansion tank. After looking for signs of a water heater leak we elected to replace just the expansion tank. Problem is now solved, my $10 gauge shows me everything is operating at the proper pressure, and there is no more leaking. $10 saved me the $1400 needed to replace the Apollo Hydroheat water heater. The original toilets were inclined to clog and two upstairs had over flowed a couple of times. We began to experience water marks on the downstairs ceiling but wasn't sure if it was just the toilet or shower. Called them to investigate and provide a bid. The contact didn't show the first time but when we contacted them, they had someone out the next day. They investigated and with minimal Sheetrock removal, confirmed it was the toilet. They sealed around the shower anyway and we decided to replace all the old (first generation low flow) toilets. They provided a bid and we agreed to work as soon as possible. They came out about a week later as agreed on the day they indicated and completed the toilet replacement and replaced a water heater at the same time in less than 3 hours. Everything since has worked well and we've had no toilet clog since.

I called in the morning and they sent somebody over in the afternoon. The plumber arrived on schedule. He was polite and friendly and kept the work area clean. Let me know what the problem was and how to avoid causing this in the future. Looks like the previous home owner had been dumping grease down the pipe.

When they came out the first time, the part on the shower faucet was put in backward (the hot was cold, the cold was hot). I called them back and they came back out and corrected the problem at no extra charge. I thought their job was pretty good and I would use them again.

He arrived at 8:30 and was done by 9:15. I didn't witness any of the work performed, but know he had some difficulty and there was a lot of noise. He was able to clear the bathtub drain. The tool he was using would not curve downward towards the main pipe but instead kept moving upward towards the vent, so he had to use a different tool to manipulate it to curve and move downward. The total charge for the hour was $104.00 and I was billed. I'm satisfied and would use them again.

Anctil was so wonderful to us. They came over to check out the job and then Bill called me to schedule the work. The plumber came over the next day and put in a new 50gal heater and hauled off the old one which was only held together by its own rust. They also installed earthquake straps.

We had several plumbers bid the job. Mark estimated the job for Anctil, and he impressed me with his knowledge and willingness to listen to questions. Theirs wasn't the lowest bid, but they used Rehau brass fittings as opposed to plastic and that convinced me to use them. Brian started the job on the day they promised. The first day or so, he had a helper that handled cutting holes in the existing drywall to get access to the fixtures. One thing that really impressed us was how well they cleaned up every night. Carpet was masked before starting work, and everything was swept and vacuumed before leaving for the night. The work was done in sections so that we always had water to at least one bathroom and kitchen when they left at night. One morning, I got a call at 7AM that Brian had an emergency call to make and wouldn't be able to come that day. That's just another example of their attention to detail. Overall, the job took 4 1/2 days and was completed with no problems.

I made an appointment for the garbage disposal replacement, they showed up on time, completed the work in less than an hour, and cleaned up as if they were never here. Excellent work.

Very well. They arrived on time, and completed the job in a timely, professional manner. I was offered options, and they did as I requested. I will use them again.

GREAT! We had an emergency pipe break and needed a bid and repair fast. We had a bid within two days of calling Anctil. One of the owners, Bill, went over each aspect of the bid with me and incorporated changed language that I wanted in the bid, as well as specifications on materials. I was impressed with the rapid turn-around on the bid, as well as how fast they got someone out initially to determine where our problem was. When we decided that we really needed to re-plumb (and not just repair) a large section of our house, I was impressed with how fast we got the bid, and how quickly we were able to schedule the work. On the day that the change-over to the new plumbing occurred, the plumber made sure to give us notice that the water to the bathrooms would be off for about an hour, and then he had the water turned back on within the hour! I appreciated that level of consideration for us. The work was completed on-time, meticulously, and the job site was cleaned up well.

I was very happy with this company when they did work for us in November last year. This time I had to call several times before I could even attempt to get an estimate. Then they wanted to know the size of the line and how deep it is before coming out to estimate or providing an estimate over the phone. If I knew anything about plumbing I might do the job myself. How am I supposed to know the size of a buried line? I called 3 other plumbers and 2 were able to come out and estimate. All 3 were much more responsive. I attribute this problem with Anctil partially to the fact that plumbers are very busy right now but they could have told me the same thing as one of the other plumbers ''I won't be able to do anything at all on this for a month.'' Honesty always works best for me. I don't know if I will call this company again so I entered ''yes''. They were very good the first time they did work for me.

This was one of the best contractor experiences I've had in years. I called, was quoted a price, and scheduled the installation. They showed up on time, replaced the water heater (and found a problem with the existing installation that they fixed), and cleaned up as if they were never here. Excellent work, prompt service, and great attitude.

This is a FANTASTIC company. They are prompt, polite, and highly skilled. Amazingly, you don't even have to pay the plumber! They send a bill later, and they are very relaxed about the whole money thing. They seem to believe in building relationships with their clients. We've already had them back for water heater repair. We highly recommend Anctil Plumbing. A great company.
