They did a good job. My interaction with them was fine. Their work and service was fine. Their price was moderate and as expected. Their professionalism was good.

Everything went well and the plumber was professional and very efficent. He also had all the parts needed to complete the job without having to leave.

I was disappointed in that the Anctil did not live up to their commitment.

The water heater was 15yrs old. It was emitting plastic and metal chunks. We decided to replace it. Initially I was interested in getting a more efficient water heater but Anctil did an analysis which showed that due to placement limitations this was not feasible. They arrived right on time to do the site review and provided an estimate within a week. We agreed on a date. They showed up right on time and did the replacement in under 3 hours. All workmanship was very high quality. They installed an expansion tank which added approximately $100. Anctil's estimate was slightly better than another water heater replacement company.

They are very professional, knowledgeable and willing to discuss and talk about things. They are very, very good people. They did a nice job with the plumbing, but when we tried to get a quote for the bathroom remodel they took way too long to get back to me. I had to contact them a few times, I didn't feel like they took me very seriously. I was just planning on going with them because I've used them before. It took a couple of weeks to get the quote back, whereas the plumber I went with had the quote back to me the next day. The quote itself was reasonable, but the time it took to get back to me was not. I won't use them in the future because I found another plumber.

I moved into my newly purchased house and within 24 hours, the water heater was leaking carbon monoxide. After calling around to 3-4 places on Angie's List, Anctil was the most comprehensive in their explanation and estimates over the phone. A new water heater was installed within 24 hours and I've had no problems since. In particular, Ben (installer) was patient and responsive in dealing with my lack of knowledge as a new homeowner. I highly recommend Anctil and will use them again.

Great experience. The plumber (Daniel) was always on time at 8:00am sharp. My kids and nanny were here the whole time and the reports i got is that he worked his tail off the entire day. With our kids here I had told him that I really couldn't have the whole house down at any time. He installed shutoffs so there was always one toilet that worked. Daniel explained everything he was doing and gave me options along the way. Work was completed one day quicker than quoted. Only issue I had was in billing. We got some deducts for work originally planned that I later decided not to do (extra hose bibs etc.). It took a few weeks to get the quote bill re-worked and I had to call 3 times to finally get it worked out. All in all I would highly recomend Anctil. High quality work.

We noticed some rust on the pipe extensions of our water heater and figured that needed to be fixed! We were also curious about a tankless water heater. We called Anctil, who changed the extensions and gave us a lot of information on tankless water heaters (in the end, it would be cost prohibitive and difficult, considering how the house was constructed). A great experience!

I want whoever is in my home to treat it with respect.

Painless, would not hesitate to have them do any work that needs to be done in the future, from the front office to the guys they have working in the field for them they are very professional.

This was done so that the water would come from behind the cabinet, instead of from the floor of the cabinet. They were reliable. They have done a couple of things for me in the past. So, I didn’t have any problem with them. The price was a little high. They were on time. This company will be my plumber from now.

I've used Anctil for other plumbing work. I trust them that the work will be done right. Brian is very professional and willing to answer all my questions. He does great work. Once the job is done I know that its done right. Prices very reasonable. Service is prompt. They will be installing my new shower and replace bath fixtures in a few months.

Excellent! Very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. The plumber from Anctil not only did all the work I contracted for but also corrected several issues he found in my existing plumbing that I wasn't even aware of. He was very good about pointing out what he found and explaining why it should be corrected then letting me decide whether to fix it or not. He did not pressure me one way or the other. For instance, in the kitchen the cold water line was feeding my dishwasher and the hot water line was feeding my icemaker. I had lived in the house three years and had no idea of that. Of course, I had him swap those two lines. He also showed me that the line from the dishwasher was piped into the p-trap instead of through the garbage disposal which is standard. He explained to me that piping the water from the dishwasher through the garbage disposal keeps the garbage disposal clean and odor free. So, I told him to also correct that. In the bathrooms the granite backsplashes prevented the popup of the rod that opens and closes the sink stopper. So, I gave him permission to try and bend the rods to make them accesible and workable. Luckily he was able to do that because the only other option would have been to drill new holes in the granite and move the faucets to the side of the sinks. Overall I was very staisfied and I would definitely call them next time I have a plumbing problem.

Andy is a very good and experienced plumber. I recommend him and would use him again. Without going into great amounts of detail, he did a quality job and knows what he is doing...My father was a plumber and I am an engineer and I know more about the details of this stuff than I would admit to them. Most of the jobs were completed professionally and with very high quality - seriously consider this company. They say that you can tell a lot about the character of a person when adversity strikes. One job -- the expansion tank install - had issues. They installed 2 PLT-5s, which is what they had in their truck, but they didn't cover the appropriate amount of expansion for 125 gallons of water at the temps I keep my water heaters at and with pre-charge equal to the supply pressure (now adjusted due to PRV), according to the WATT specs. We understand our home is larger than typical, but do expect them to have the larger tanks available and in stock for jobs like this. In addition, one of the tanks was installed on the warm side, which is also not recommended by WATT for various reasons, most importantly it degrades the longevity of the diaphragm. Several months later, we heard substantial noise in the wall from water expansion in the PEX (we've since confirmed it as such). I contacted Anctil about the tanks, worried that they were not allowing the appropriate amount of expansion. Bill, the owner, did the right thing...he ordered a larger tank (PLT-20, which is 4x the size of a PLT-5) and scheduled an install. No charge. He is a stand-up guy. Andy arrived on time, added the tank in a reasonable location, and while many plumbers would have left...he was perceptive enough to note another problem and fix it before leaving -- we had an air lock around the re-circ pump, which was not allowing for proper circulation...I like Andy a lot and highly recommend him, bill, and Anctil. All A's with one B for responsiveness - didn't hear back from them the first time I called about the pipe noise...note that this noise was keeping us up at night, but had nothing to do with them. In the end, the new tank helped to reduce the noise, but it doesn't eliminate it - this is no fault of Anctil, rather it is the poor reinforcement of the PEX in my walls.

It is a family owned plumbing outfit. I have used them occasionally in the past for water line leaks. They have been easy to communicate with and their prices are very reasonable. They do a good job. I have recommended him to my neighbor about 2 houses away. I know he called them. I have not spoken to him to check if he used them. I think they were expensive.

I called to get an estimate to replace two toilets with newer ones. I had done some online research, so I knew the requirements, in terms of color, height, gallons per flush, etc. I asked for their recommendation for a brand and model, and why. I got detailed answers, complete with model numbers and a price to install. No games, just a straight answer. Their quote was close enough to the others. Not the cheapest, but I don't have a problem with a talented person earning a living. The quote was reasonable, and they were able to send a plumber out the next day. Their plumber arrived on time and got the job done in a couple of hours. He was capable and friendly. No surprises.

My realtor contacted the company to give us an assessment of the 27 year old furnace and possibly to discuss the cost of a replacement. The serviceman came and did a complete review of the system which was very thorough. I stated at the time that I wanted to know if the furnace was still in good order or whether it required replacement. I did not want the old system serviced since at the time of the call I did not even own the house. I was told that if they came out to make this evaluation, maintenance was part of the call. I have since had 2 other companies come out to give an evaluation of the furnace and the cost of a replacement; these were free estimates. I was unprepared for this large bill.

Called, came in did the estimate as other vendors. Price about the same as others. We was thinking about tankless water heater and their tankless water heater quote is better than other. Due to price 2500.00 vs 795.00 we go with the tank one. Come on time, done the job fast and professional. Secure the water heater very good against the wall in garage.
