THEY WERE FANTASTIC, VERY PROFESSIONAL, VERY FRIENDLY, AND VERY WILLING TO WORK WITH US. THEY CAME IN AND LOOKED AT THE WAY OUR WATER HEATER HAD BEEN INSTALLED ORIGINALLY AND SAW IT HAD BEEN INSTALLED IN A SUB-STANDARD MANNER ORIGINALLY. THEY FIXED IT WHEN THEY PUT IN THE NEW ONE.

I had another company detect the cause of the leak. I asked this company to replace the leaking bibb. They arrived without the proper length bibb and left to go to a supplier for the part, taking 1 hour 30 minutes. The repair actually took 15 minutes. They charged 1.75 hours service charge at 98.00 per hour. This was a simple task, grossly overcharged.

Although I'd ordered new replacement parts for an existing faucet, the repairman was unable to disassemble or repair it. It was replaced with a new faucet that was readily available on his truck as a temporary solution, so we will be able to use the sink until we remodel.

Garbage disposal only needed gasket. He worked on my kitchen faucet for about an hour. He said I needed parts. It was an American Standard. He told me what I needed, I called and had the parts sent to me. I called him 3 weeks later, he came out and worked on it at least 1/2 hOUr. He left and it was still leaking. I called and told him it was still leaking. He came back 2 days later. He said he couldn't get it fixed. I told him it was back where it was when we started. It was hard to turn. He told me to call American Standard and tell them I needed a new one. He charged me $182.50, which I paid and $90.00 the second time and didn't even fix it. They said the owner would call. He never called.

We called the company and reached them the first time. They did not have to call back. Both repairs were done very fast. The repairmen came in at the time expected. They knew the job. We are very satisfied with the work done, however we did not expect the cost would be as high as it was. Nevertheless, we called them for a second tine when another problem arose.

This company is punctual, extremely polite, friendly, and conscientious. It was a large job, and I have near white carpets throughout, but there was not a trace left at the end of the job. I highly recommend this company.

I was quite disappointed to have not been able to get through to anyone responsible enough to make sure my call was returned or to fix a date for an estimate to get my plumbing replaced. So many people on Angie's said this is a great company, so I expected better than 4 unreturned calls. I am aware that plumbers around here are incredibly busy right now, but if they're too busy to take the job, they should say so on the phone, rather than just saying repeatedly that someone will call back, and then leave me hanging.

Was about 1/2 hour late and didn't notify me. I called the company to make sure I was on their list because my appointment was the day following the New Year's weekend. After checking with the dispatcher they called me back immediately, confirmed the appointment and once he arrived the work was completed in a timely fashion. One more thing that I like about this company is that the worker doesn't collect the payment. The bill is mailed to you.

At first they told me a plumber would be at my house between 8 am-12 so I stayed home from work to wait. At 11:50, they acknowledged that the plumber would be late and to expect someone around 2:30. A plumber finally showed up at 3:30 and did a great job but I ended up taking most of the day off from work. I wish they would have called me during the course of the day, instead of me always having to call them to check on status, and that they would have been more realistic about when the plumber would arrive so I could plan my work day better.

Plumber on site within 3 hours of request, with replacement water heater and supplies. All inclusive price (unit and installation) billed as quoted. Also noted that house system had a leak, tracked it down, and repaired in crawl space. Not an easy job, but done very professionally and at a fair additional charge. Very pleased, and will use again.

We determined that our water line was leaking Thanksgiving week. An Anctil rep came out almost immediately to provide an estimate. We had one other estimate that was $1000 higher. To our delight, the job was started a day early and finished the next day. The Monday and Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Communication was excellent for starting the job early. Everyone at Anctil was courteous. The details were explained thoroughly before the job was started. The plumber on the job was very polite and there was no mess to clean up. He even replanted the plants that he had to dig up. I had just asked him to please set the bulbs and plants aside for me. I was pleasantly surprised to see them replanted. I would recommend Anctil to anyone looking for a reliable plumber.

EXPERIENCE WAS VERY GOOD. SOME DIFFICULTIES NAILING DOWN SCHEDULING, BUT IT WAS DURING A HOLIDAY WEEK. COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE MAIN OFFICE AND WITH THE REPAIRMEN SENT WERE GOOD. STAFF WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID A GREAT JOB. OVERALL I WAS VERY PLEASED.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED. THE PERSON WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE WAS VERY POLITE AND UNDERSTANDING, WHEN I TOLD HIM I HAD A WATER LEAK THAT NEEDED ATTENTION RIGHT AWAY. I GOT A CALL BACK AN HOUR LATER LETTING ME KNOW THEY WOULD COME BY THAT AFTERNOON. A FEW HOURS LATER THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED. ANCTIL MAILED ME AN INVOICE WITHIN 2 WKS AND IT WAS $4 MORE THAN THE ESTIMATE THEY GAVE ME. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED. I DID NOT CALL OTHER COMPANIES SO I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS COST COMPARES TO OTHERS.

I'M SURE THEY DO A GREAT JOB AND THEY ARE A VERY REPUTABLE COMPANY BUT THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK.

I FOUND THE PERSON TO WHOM I SPOKE TO BE OFFHAND. IT APPEARED TO ME THAT ANCTIL PLUMBING DID NOT WANT THE JOB, BUT RATHER THAN SAY SO KEPT PUTTING ME OFF. I FOUND ANOTHER COMPANY WHO WERE VERY WILLING AND ABLE TO COMPLETE THE WORK. I PLAN TO GO TO THEM FOR ALL MY FUTURE PLUMBING NEEDS.

-FIRST CONTACT: I DIN'T KNOW THAT I WOULD NEED A NEW WATER HEATER. CALLED THEM TO LEARN HOW TO INCREASE WATER TEMPERATURE. AFTER DAN TOLD ME WHAT TO DO I MENTIONED THAT THERE WAS WATER IN THE PAN. THAT'S WHEN HE TOLD ME THE HEATER WAS LEAKING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. ARRIVED AT THE STATED HOUR, AND FINISHED IN A TIMELY MANNER. AFTER HE HAD GONE, I NOTICED THAT THERE WAS NO WATER COMING FROM THE KITCHEN FACET, AND ONLY A TRICKLE FROM THE WASHING MACHINE. CALLED THE SHOP:EXPLAINED WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND SAID HE WOULD SEND SOMEONE OUT. ARRIVED WITHIN AN HOUR OR SO FROM THE TIME I CALLED SHOP ABOUT THE ''NO WATER AND FAUCET PROBLEM'' HE EXPLAINED WHY I DIDN'T HAVE WATER, SHOWED ME HOW TO REPAIR THE FAUCET AS HE DID IT. TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING IN A TIMELY FASHION

EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTH FROM GETTING THE QUOTE TO THE ACTUAL INSTALLATION. I GOT FOUR QUOTES. THEY WERE NEAR THE LOWEST AND INCLUDED COST OF METAL STAND REQUIRED BY CODE FOR EARTHQUAKE PROTECTION. THE TECHNICIAN SHOWED UP ON TIME, INSTALLED THE NEW HEATER, CLEANED UP AFTERWARDS AND TOOK AWAY THE OLD TANK. THERE WAS SOME ADDITIONAL DUCT WORK NECESSARY BECAUSE WE CHANGED THE SIZE OF THE TANK AND HE TOOK CARE OF IT.

THE CHARGE WAS PER DRAIN, NOT PER HOUR WHICH IS MUCH BETTER IN CASE YOU HAVE A BIG JOB. THE REP WAS TIMELY AND COURTEOUS. THEY WERE FLEXIBLE ON THE APPOINTMENT TIME AND CALLED PRIOR TO ARRIVING TO MAKE SURE SOMEONE WAS HOME. I CHECKED 3 OTHER COMPANIES BEFORE CALLING THIS ONE. THEY ARE VERY REASONABLY PRICED. THERE WAS ONLY ONE OUT OF FOUR COMPANIES THAT I CALLED THAT WAS MORE EXPENSIVE.

THE WORK DONE WAS GOOD QUALITY AND CLEAN. THE PLUMBER WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND NICE, BUT I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE NUMBER OF HOURS THEY REPORTED AND CHARGED FOR. THEY REPORTED 2 HOURS MORE THAN WHAT I COUNTED AND I WAS THERE THE WHOLE TIME PLUMBER WAS PERFORMING THE WORK. I CALLED THEM THREE TIMES TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE BUT THE OWNER/BILLING DEPARTMENT JUST CHOSE TO IGNORE ME AND WENT WITH THE HOURS REPORTED BY THE PLUMBER'S ASSISTANT REPORTED.

WE CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES FOR A WEEK, AND WERE GIVEN NUMEROUS PROMISES THAT THEY WOULD BE HERE. FIRST, IT WAS THE NEXT DAY. THEN, BEFORE FRIDAY. THEN BETWEEN 2:00, AND 4:00 ON FRIDAY. THEY NEVER CALLED TO SAY THEY COULD NOT MAKE IT. TODAY, MONDAY, I CANCELLED THE SERVICE REQUEST. THEY JUST CALLED BACK, AND SAID SOMEBODY WOULD BE HERE THIS AFTERNOON. FOOL ME ONCE, ... I TOLD THEM I ALREADY CANCELLED THE APPOINTMENT, AND EXPLAINED WHY. I GOT, "SORRY ABOUT THAT". ME, TOO.

TOLD ME I DID NOT HAVE TO REPLACE THE WHOLE THING. THANKS VERY MUCH. VERY HONEST.

WE WERE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE WORK PERFORMED. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB INSTALLING THE WATER HEATER AND STRAPPING IT DOWN. THIS WAS SOMEWHAT DIFFICULT DUE TO THE SPACE AVAILABLE BUT THE PLUMBER WAS VERY GOOD AT GETTING THE UNIT INTO THE SPACE. HE WORKED FAST AND EFFICIENTLY.

THEY WERE AN A. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS MORE THAN WE EXPECTED FOR THE PRICE, THEY WENT AHEAD AND FIXED IT RIGHT AWAY. WE HAD AN OLD FAUCET THAT WAS HARD TO DEAL WITH.

THE PLUMBER (BRIAN) WAS ON TIME, COURTEOUS OF CLEANLINESS TO OUR HOME WHILE PERFORMING HIS DUTIES, COURTEOUS MANNERISM AND HAULED THE JUNK OUT, TOO. BILL, THE SALES PERSON DIRECTED ME IN WHAT SPECIFICATIONS WE NEEDED AND BEST BRAND FOR OUR BUDGET, IN ORDER TO PURCHASE AND PICK OUT PRODUCTS IN OUR AREA.

CAME OUT, TOOK OUT OLD WATER HEATER, INSTALLED NEW ONE. SECURED IT TO THE WALL FOR EARTH QUAKE READY. WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CLEANED UP AFTER WORK DONE.
