Alexia's Window Tinting

I found them on Angie's List. The estimate was fair. The Toyota dealership recommended Alexia's for window tinting.

Went into Beaverton store for estimate. Prices are good, but not great. Employee (not owner or owner's son) appeared to be annoyed to be interrupted and was fairly curt (hence the downgrade to "B" in Professionalism. Was told by a Lexus employee that they are the best, so went ahead and scheduled service. Owner's son, Duggan, did intake; very nice guy and helpful with all questions. Was told it would be 4 hrs until car was ready. Came back 15 min past the 4 hr mark, and car was ready but they had to move several cars to get it out. Overall, great work and owner, Alexia, was very nice. Just plan on not waiting around Alexia's because there is no TV or any current magazines (that I noticed) in their waiting room. It was 85 degrees outside and it was pretty darned hot in there, too!

Made appointment a few days in advance. They were able to use a "40" rated tint to achieve the "35" legal level tint here in Oregon. I haven't examined the windows real close for flaws but at quick glance all seems well (been a couple weeks since application and they say it takes 45 or so days to fully cure). They go right upto the edge of the window which is nice--so it is hard to tell you have tinted your windows when rolling them down (no clear/dark edge). In and out within an hour. They also have wifi you can access at their office. The only thing I noticed is that with my polarized glasses I can see some slight color banding on the drivers side window tint (red/green colors). I'm not sure what causes this--material, etc? If you think that might bother you then consider doing a "test" prior to application and see if they have other tint options (I don't think so). You can also try Tommy's for other options.

Called and arranged the job on the same day. Installation only took a couple of hours. It has been a couple of years and everything is holding up well.

They were great! They did what they said they were going to do, and we are pleased.

We were told it would probably take about a couple of hours, so we scheduled an early morning appointment and went out for breakfast. It only took an hour for breakfast so we headed back across the street to see how they were doing. They said they were done and we were ready to go. We chose a legal tint which is pretty light looking, but it has really reduced the amount of heat transmission into the truck. There were no bubbles, creases or scratches in the tint. We are absolutely satisfied with the work performed.

I contacted Alexia's window tinting, gave them a description of what I wanted done and they gave me a quote over the phone. I came in on a Saturday, we chose the color tint that matched my car. I was also able to prepay and pick the car up after they had closed for the day. The tint job looks great and they were great to work with.

I scheduled an appointment at 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday. I was able to get both cars in for same day service. The work on each car was done with high quality and just as advertised. Jay was very professional and took the time to explain all our options and provided us with the information on our warranty etc.

In both instances, the window tint looks great! It also comes with a lifetime warranty on the film and the installation. They will put on the shade of tint you want, even if it is not legal. However, you do have to sign a showcar waiver if you do so. They are knowledgeable of the legal limits in Oregon, so believe them when they show you what the limit is. If you want windows darker than legal, you can obtain a letter of medical necessity from your Optometrist or Medical Doctor. They have an example letter on display so you know what types of information should be included in the letter. I was so pleased with the work they did on our van that I brought in my car the next week to have it done also. If you mention their website ad, you can get $10 dollars off the price of a full car tint job.
