A-Pro Service Co

I was told on Thursday 1/7/10 that a repairman would be out at 8am on Fri 1/8/10. 8am came and went on Friday. At 9am I called A-Pro to ask them if they were coming and they said yes, "they were on their way". At 10am they were still not here so I called again. Their answer was "well, I had to get gas for my truck but I'm on my way". At 11am they were still not here so I called again. Their answer was the same ... "I'm on my way". To this I said "but you said that 2 hours ago!" To this they replied, "can you give me your address?" To this I replied, "you've been on your way for 2 hours but don't know my address?" To this they replied, "give me your address and I'll see if it's what I have written down". Then I said "you've got to be kidding, I'll find someone else" and they said "YOU DO THAT!" and then hung up on me. Don't call this company. They should not be in business. I am sorry I did not read the other reviews before calling them but for some reason Google brought them up first. Don't understand that one. They are as unprofessional as they come.

A-Pro came out initially & diagnosed probelm as bent vents. Charged $105 to "straighten vents" and spent more time trying to sell us a furnace cleaning than working on dryer. Upon use the same day, the dryer still did not heat and now smelled of gas. Immediately had gas company come out -- said needed a part to re-light ignition after initial lighting. Why didn't appliance guys notice that? Called A-Pro. Stated I needed $175 part and would only charge labor. Came the next day - was here for 1/2 hour & charged flat rate of $150 for labor! Outrageous!!!!! I could have bought a new dryer for the $430 total charged. DON'T USE THIS OVERPRICED COMPANY!
