He had never seen it before so he went back and did some research and ordered some new parts. He came back and put the new parts on. It was a very simple thing to change the parts so he only charged for the parts on the second visit because it only took him 10 minutes.

Went well from beginning to end. Very professional repair person. Cheerful attitude which I appreciated. Worked quickly at identifying the problem, making recommendations and making the repair. Would recommend to others and plan to use again if I need an appliance repair person. And he had all the parts he needed even though my Maytag is 20+years old. The most prepared repair person I have called. The office got the model of my dryer over the phone to facilitate the repair. Thought repair cost was fair.

We suddenly has water shooting under the sink from the dishwasher instead of it draining through the tube. A&P had initially installed the unit, so I was glad to see they were so highly rated on Angies List as well. Called and arranged for someone to check on it. Mike turned up and immediately suspected a mouse had eaten a hole in the tube - he was right! Said he had to order a replacement tube, but that it should be only a couple of days. Again he was right and was back in 2 days with the tube (without asking for any payment for the first visit). All was fixed very quickly, but Mike also advise on how I could try and prevent mouse entry into the area by jamming steel wool in the hole under the sink! This has been since done! So, thanks for a great job, done quickly, and hopefully the advice to stop these deadly critters from attacking the dishwasher again!

My 15 year old Kenmore washing machined stopped spinning. After shopping for a new washer and not impressed with what I found I called A&P Appliance to see if it could be fixed. The kind lady said she thought all it needed was a part for the spinner. I was able to get someone out the day I called! Neo was right on time and very, very nice. The problem was a small part that operates the spin cycle had broken. He replaced it and in about 30 minutes he was done! Instead of spending $700 - $800 on a new washer the charge was $150. Neo said there were several more years left on this washer which I like AND the washer is much quieter now! Thanks A&P Appliance.

Oh no! Refrigerator and freezer stopped working the day before Thanksgiving. Talk about bad timing. We called A&P Appliance as soon as their phone line opened at 8:30 in the morning. We got an appointment the same afternoon for them to come out and diagnose the problem. Our refrigerator is 11 years old, so we knew it could be something big and expensive, and it might not be worth it to fix it. But they told us, it could also be something fairly minor. The technician quickly found the problem, a burnt out relay (which is in the minor category), and had the part in his truck and was able to fix the problem right away. We had our freezer and refrigerator up and running again that same afternoon. Long weekend saved.

I will be calling the companies that they referred me to.

A&P's technician arrived on time and replaced the hinges on our range door. He was very professional and did a great job...my oven works better now to boot (everything about the door works better...including the seal). I would absolutely use A&P Appliance again in the future.

So after installing the wrong ice maker, another one was ordered. Again two weeks to arrive. Called last week to install unit. Scheduled for this Monday. No one showed up. Called and discovered I was on the schedule for the wrong date...a week from today not today. After being told last Thursday "next week" for install, which I took to be this week. Rescheduled for earliest available which is Wednesday. My initial call for service was July 8, first service call was July 12 so I am now a month out from the first service. There hasn't been anymore charges after the initial charge but for what should have been a relatively simple fix, it has become quite frustrating. Don't know if it was A and P that ordered the wrong replacement unit or if factory sent the wrong one but they did have the correct model number for my refrigerator to order the correct unit. Having no ice maker in July is a first-world problem but the delays and frustrations have added to the inconvenience. I am thinking that I may call another appliance repair company next time I am in need of such service.

Mike determined that there was really nothing that he could do. The door gasket was still in good shape. He said we could order a new gasket but in his experience, we would not be any more satisfied with a new one. The problem that I called about was that when you close the left door, the right one pops out and you have to consciously remember to press it closed. This has not always been the case when we bought it new. However, Mike says that it is the normal functionality of the type of door we have. He showed us how to install a new gasket should we decide in the future we want to order a new one to try to get a better closure experience. But he had little optimism that we'd be happy. So we are going to keep remembering to press it closed and hope it becomes automatic habit.

Repairman was actually available earlier than scheduled time, called to see if I could be there sooner (I couldn't). He waited for me, came right up to apartment. He checked and showed me the OMS meter results, indicating that the circuit/outlet was faulty. He did not proceed further because it was up to the apartment complex to then fix the problem. My payment for the service call entitles me to further repair for 3 months without service fee.

Excellent. They came out in a couple of says after our initial call. Had to order the circuit board. Called and came out again within a week to replace. Very reliable and honest. We have used the, on smaller jobs in the past.

The technician arrived on time. Inspected the range. Replaced the defective unit. Total time-15 minutes. Did not receive my $5.00 discount. I thought the cost was a little steep but other than that excellent in every way!

I called A&P and explained my problem. She scheduled a technician for the following morning. He showed up promptly and disassembled my dryer. He vacuumed the interior of the dryer as he took it apart. The problem was old rollers (which I suspected based on my internet search). He replaced these and had everything back together within 30 minutes.

When I called for a repair for our refrigerator, I explained it seems to be running hot. And said I think a senor may have gone bad or a wire may have been disconnected when cleaning the cooling coils. After explaining a few more details, that, the hot front panel was normal for a side by side and the temperature range I described was not that far from the norm. So I concluded that this may something I haven't noticed before and will keep an eye on it for a few days to be sure. I've been using A & P Appliance for many years and have found them to be very reputable.

He arrived promptly, got right to work and finished in a timely manner. I was very pleased.

r I have an older triplex in the Beaverton area. My renter noted that one of his stove elements would only go to very hot no matter what heat level it was turned to. I wasnt sure if I needed a whole new stove top or just an element. I had a friend (fella that works as a handyman at an apartment complex look at it and fiddle with it. He spent several hours and couldnt figure out what was wrong.) I called A and P spoke to a very nice lady. Told her my story. I said one issue might be that the renter spoke very little English. she noted that they had both English and Spanish service people. I had an appointment for the very next day. Mike came out on time and diagnosed the problem immediately. He had a new element in and we were done in about 20 minutes. Mike was great, professional and very knowledgeable. He has been in this position for this company for some time. That made me feel good. I will use A and P for all future appliance needs for my home and my rentals. Oh what a relief Tye

They replaced the panel on the outside of the machine that holds the computer apparatus. Everything with their service was fine.

Washer made very loud noise when spinning. Chose A&P on the basis on Angie's list recommendation. Wasn't disappointed. Company promptly sent an experienced repairman to our home for a diagnosis. He concluded that the repair to our 9 year old washer would be very expensive. Based on his opinion we opted for a new washer. Very satisfied with this company's experience and customer service. Would use again.

The service repair person came and ran a diagnostic on our washer and found the central control board was not working. He ordered a replacement part & when the part came in he replaced the part. The service person was great to work with. The whole time to replace the part took about 15 min. I would call them again. The service was fast and friendly. Gary A. Wall Sr

This was a good experience. The service person was able to find a hard to locate part and get it for me in a matter of a few days. The service person was prompt and courteous. I would deal with this company again in the future.

I explained the issue with the drier and my fears to the technician. He checked the machine out thoroughly and explained the issue clearly. My drier is a good quality machine and that it would be worth the money to replace the motor. My problem is an intermittent issue and so I am in a wait and see phase. The technician showed my how to help the drier start up if the problem happens again. He also explained some of the safety features of my drier. The technician also showed my how to use a drier rack that came with my machine. The machine came to me as part of our house purchase and I have been learning more about it as time goes by. He also explained to me about the warranty for this visit and how it will help me if I need to replace the motor soon. He also explained to me that his company has the parts to repair the machine on hand. It seems that time will confirm his suspicions about the motor. Overall great service. Glad I chose A&P Appliance.

My built in microwave and my refrigerator both stopped working. I called A&P appliances on a Tuesday, and set an appointment for late afternoon on Thursday. The repairman arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem with the refrigerator as a burned out circuit board, which he quickly replaced. The microwave had a leaking magnetron, which could not be fixed in my home. He removed the microwave from the wall, took it to the shop for repair, and reinstalled it about a week later. Both appliances are still working fine about 3 months after the service.

It works just fine. They were great. They were prompt and professional.

One day my 35-year-old clothes dryer started making weird noises and I thought the end had come. I went shopping for a new clothes dryer, and while I was resigned to the cost, real problem was that the modern-day dryers don't fit in my tiny laundry room. I thought about getting a refurbished older model, and then discovered the way my ex-husband had built the door and frame plus wedged a file cabinet into the space, I'd have to remove those to get the old appliance out and the new one in. Dollar signs started floating in my mind. Instead, I called A&P Appliance and they had a repair person, Mike, come to the house on exactly the day I asked for. He replaced several dryer parts plus vacuumed out all the old lint for safety. The job was done in under an hour and the machine works like new.
