Description of Work: The service provider identified the problem with the dryer and fixed the problem. Overall I was very satisfied with the service, but thought the total price for the service call-out and repair a bit high. The gentleman that did the work was nice and very helpful. I would use again.

Description of Work: Had our old drier repaired. We were ready to replace it, it sounded so bad, but the repairman saved us a bunch of money by telling us it could be fixed, then fixing it.

Description of Work: 1. Refrig down. Need replace fan in freezer. 1st trip, fan not fit and shaft not easily cut like other fans. Day 2 wrong part was ordered. Day 4 came w/ good fan and job completed. |2. Burner out on radiant range. Took burner out and tested OK. Replaced switch. Done. |Two separate jobs/visits about $230 each. I liked working with the Tech (same x 2).

Description of Work: Great experience!! The repair man arrived on time, fixed the broken door handle, and was finished within 15 minutes. He was professional, personable, and answered the questions I had completely. I will contact A&P again when I have an appliance that needs repair.

Description of Work: I took my Jenn-Air convection/microwave in for service. When A&P discovered that it was not repairable, they took the issue to Jenn-Air. We tried to get them to help with the cost of a replacement since the appliance was only a few months out of warranty. Through no fault of theirs, Jenn-Air refused. Take away: Don't buy expensive Jenn-air appliances since they don't back them even when they are irreparable after only a few years of use. DO use A&P. They went beyond the call of duty to help.

Description of Work: Very kind lady spoke with me on the phone just at closing time. I explained that I needed an LG fridge repaired and she let me know right away that she didn't have authorized LG techs and that I might try Sears. I love honesty. Description of Work: Mike, Came to our home and fixed our dryer. We have a warranty with "The Geek Squad" they had been here 3 times over a months time and not found the problem. Mike found it in a matter of minutes. I wrote a letter to the Geek Squad with the information on their "professional" repair people and how they were unable to fix the dryer in 3 tries and how Mike fixed it, I was refunded the money from the "Geek Squad" that we had to pay Mike. Please support the local repair people. Not the national companies that want your money and don't care about the service or you.

Description of Work: I called today to schedule a time to get my washer and drier hooked up. I also needed to get the cord on the drier changed because it didn't match the outlet at my new house. A & P had a technician at my home within 2 hours (I thought it would take several days to get an appointment). He also noticed that the top of the drier was bent (from the move) and fixed it at no extra charge. He also noticed that one of the outside vents was missing a flap, which might make it possible for a bird to build a nest in there. He was very thorough and professional.

Description of Work: Mike checked and fixed my dishwasher. He was very fast and efficient. My dryer was also making funny sounds, so I also had him check the dryer. It was an old dryer. He took it apart, located lots of lint inside the machine and made a fast repair on it also. He brought his own vacuum in and helped me get rid of years of accumlated lint and dust. Thank you SO MUCH!

Description of Work: I brought my microwave oven to the appliance repair shop for diagnosis. The display was not functioning properly. They called me the following day to tell me that a new part was needed to correct the display problem, and what the cost of the repair would be. I decided that, due to the age of the microwave oven and the fact that it could still be used without the repair, that the repair was not worth the cost. I picked up the oven and was charged only for the diagnostics.
