Steve was on time and did a thorough inspection of the entire house. I was very impressed, considering it was 102 outside. He was very helpful and explained every detail of the inspection. I gladly recommend A 2 Z Home Inspections.

Overall the inspection went great. I discovered A 2 Z Home Inspections, Inc. through a "Big Deal" on Angie's List. After signing up for the "Big Deal", Steve Nagel called and we set up an appointment. At the time of the appointment Steve went over in detail what he would be doing for the inspection. Steve arrived on time for the appointment and we spent a small amount of time with paper work and Steve reiterated what the inspection would consist of and said that I could follow along with him on the inspection, which I did. Steve had a specific order that he followed doing an outside overall assessment (foundation, siding, windows, doors, and roof), an evaluation room by room, and finally doing the crawlspace. He discussed his findings, both good and bad, and made suggestions for optional improvements. The inspection was very through and I was impressed especially with the crawl space inspection. Steve found some problems that we had to deal with immediately, which we did. By the following day, he had sent us a very complete report including pictures with his findings. Although I contacted A 2 Z Home Inspections, Inc. through an Angie's List "Big Deal", I did check the regular price of their inspections and they were in line with other quotes we had received.

This is my 2nd home inspection by Steve. He is very friendly and efficient. I would trust him to do any home inspections I would need to complete.

Steve is a professional and through inspector. He arrived early for the inspection and did a fantastic job. He inspected a new home construction and found several issues that the builder needs to address before closing. He does a nice through inspection.

Steven did a great job with the home inspection! I called him up with a rather short deadline and he was able to accommodate me. I lucked out with an amazing deal for the home inspection (I almost paid another guy almost $400 for the same job). He arrived right on time and explained the whole process to me. He was thorough and pointed out his findings to me and explaining causes/solutions. He found one main fault with the water heater that would have cost a bunch of money in monthly water and gas! Overall I'd say he was great!

Steve inspected our proposed house purchase and did a great job. The inspection was thorough and we feel that we know exactly what the problems are with the house we are buying as well as what is not a problem.. This is actually the second inspection Steve has done for us this year. Last month he inspected another house and found significant standing water in the crawl space. We were not able to come to terms with the seller to fix this and eventually canceled the deal. Because of this we had no hesitation calling Steve when we found another house a few weeks later. He was able both times to accommodate our schedule and get this done quickly so we could proceed to the appraisal.

An excellent experience. Steve was on time, very professional and detailed all of the areas that I would have expected. He explained in detail all of his observations as well as submitted a very professional a nd detailed report. We would definitely use Steve again.

They didn't charge anything for the estimate. He came when he said he will be here. His estimate was on time and good.

Steve did a great job, I would highly recommend him. Very interested in making sure that we understood the issues that he observed and providing insight into the condition of the property. His responsiveness when first contacted was excellent, he was punctual and he was able to schedule us without much notice. The report he delivered was more than just a check-the-box form, it will be handy to refer back to as time goes on.

I did a lot of homework in choosing a home inspector, but was drawn to Steve for 3 reasons specifically: good reputation on Angie's List, is the President of his trade association (which means people in his field believe he's good at what he does), and OMG COUPON FOR $250.00 WHOLE HOME INSPECTION? Sign me up! Steve arrived earlier than we did. He was incredibly professional and well mannered throughout the entire process. Being a first time home buyer, I knew I would be panicky at every little thing brought up, but Steve provided a fair assessment of each thing he pointed out and took PLENTY of time to go through the whole house while being cognizant of the overall time we were there. He didn't talk down to me at all, but communicated everything in clear terms. His paperwork process is pretty old-school and could use some updating, but the final report was clean, easy to read and understand, and came to my inbox by the end of the night. I couldn't ask for more efficiency! His inspection will save me a good amount of money over the course of purchasing and owning this home. I would refer Steve in an instant. Steve, who is with A 2 Z Home Inspections came to my house for an inspection. He identified many items in the house that I was not aware of and educated me in a real down to earth and sensible manner that was easy for me to understand. I was able to negotiate repairs with contractors and the seller in a very effective way that literally saved me thousands of dollars. I recouped exponentially the dollars, that I spent on A 2 Z, back in negotiations for the costs of the repairs. Steve was very thorough and complete in his work and his communications (a truly top notch professional). I got in touch with Steve through a referral. Right off the bat, what I like about him is that he answers his phone when someone calls. It's amazing how little this can happen these days. Steve was able to set up a day and time within a few days to inspect my house. I met him him there, and he went through the whole house recommending that I come along so he can point some things out as we go. A TO Z HOME INSPECTIONS INSPECTED THE HOME WE WERE INTERESTED IN BUYING. THEY ACTUALLY SAVED US A LOT OF MONEY BECAUSE THEY IDENTIFIED A COUPLE OF PROBLEMS IN THE BATHROOM AREA THAT THE OWNER FIXED BEFORE OUR PURCHASE.
