+ -1 moreThey continued to bill us after our service was cancelled and then sent us to collections when we tried to dispute the fees. Rich at Swatco is mean and belligerent. He yells, has no patience and they NEVER GIVE ANY HELP to anyone. All of they Google review are 1 star. There is a reason. Do not do business with them, they will do everything they can to drive up your bill and then send you to collections.
Description of Work: They have the monopoly on picking up garbage and recycling in Washington County, OREGON but they are the worst at customer service. They charge lots of undisclosed fees, can overweight fees (never mentioned that), a restart fee of $25 that I still don''t know what that was for, extra can fees, even a "over capacity over the top" fee of $2.75 per can. In one month the service that was supposed to be $41 cost $169 and the next month was $181. And when they didn't pick up the can at the end of our service (because the normal driver was on vacation and the office didn't tell him)

+ -1 moreEven though I only get my garbage picked up a quarter as often, I still pay something like half the weekly rate. They do always come on the first Monday, rain or shine, holiday or not. Occasionally, when I forget to put my can out on my designated day, they will pick it up the next week and not charge me extra. Their service has been satisfactory. It would be better if they would pick up all the recyclables.
Description of Work: I have them pick up my garbage once monthly. (I used to have weekly pickup but cut back a year or two ago.) They only pick up recycling on the first month of the month and they do not pick up plastics.
