With Glenn and Bob, the job always goes great. The old cold water line was not delivering sufficient volume of water even though the cold water pressure in the rest of the house was fine. They removed the old pipe that ran from the main house line up through the floor and wall and installed new pex line, also a new cold water knob (not the correct term, but you get the idea). Cleaned up the area, put the washer and dryer back in place and hurray! great water pressure through the line. No more ferrying cold water by pitcher from the kitchen sink.
Description of Work: Fixed cold water line to washing machine.

Bob and Glen drained the hot water tank and installed a pan beneath it, running a pipe down into the crawl space. They installed a pan for the washer and moved it and the dryer into place after the new flooring was installed. This they did with great care as the laundry room is very small, also houses the furnace, and has three doorways and an attic hatch, all of which had to have adequate clearance left. They installed a pipe into the crawl space. Glen went into the crawl space to make sure the pipe extended properly through the insulation that is netted up against the joist bays. They did a perfect job, which is standard for them. They are always a delight to have work in my home: they are a pleasure to be around and such perfectionists there is never a worry about outcome of the job.
Description of Work: Bob and Glen installed pans beneath the washer and hot water tanks.

The faucet in the tub had been leaking for months. I'd been catching the water in a pitcher and running it out to the garden. The drip got worse as drips do. I took the cold water handle apart expecting to be able to pop out the innards and replace them, but they were back very far in the wall and calcified into immobility. I called Bob. Even his special tools could not reach far enough into the wall. The system could be reached from the hot water heater closet, through an access panel. It was determined the entire system would have to be taken out and replaced. This involved cutting another access panel (for the shower head bits) through the cupboard wall above the heater closet. The old system proved to be very stubborn but they did a wonderful job and got everything done perfectly, cleaned up, and it's a relief to know it's well done. This company is well named. Also, they are some of the nicest people on the planet.
Description of Work: Installed new faucet system for shower -- very tricky and many difficulties involved. They did a wonderful job.

Couldn't be better. August 2012, ditto.
Description of Work: Bob has helped me twice: connecting the sewer gas vent stack from the wall to the one through the roof in 20008; and lately properly running the gas furnace condensation line through the floor into the crawl space to the waste water line. This had formerly been run up the wall, across the ceiling, and down another wall into the waste water line for the washer -- a flood waiting to happen. While in the crawl space he addressed all other plumberly bits needing attention. Per August 2012: Bob and Glen installed a new 2 handle tub/shower valve and head. The old one was calcified and set so far back in the wall it could not be got at. I'd been ferrying drip water to the garden. They did a wonderful job, as ever. The new outfit works perfectly and is a pleasure to use.
