This is a one-man business by a guy who knows his stuff. First thing he told us was that our old spa was a great brand (Balboa) and to service it as long as possible before thinking of replacing it. He said Balboas are designed well and it should last many more years. He quoted us $950 for a new one mother board but called a few days later and said he'd found a new one at a better price so the estimate was now $800. These are two important details I learned quickly: 1) He won't push a new spa on us unless we really need one, and 2) He passed on savings to us that we never would have known about, save for his honesty. The work went smoothly and the spa has been working great. He is now our official spa guy and we'll continue to use him. One more thing. I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry, and he presumably doesn't, but you'd never know this talking to him about spas. He knows inside out, down to the molecular level, how all the spa chemicals work. I was impressed by this. Use Specialized Pool and Spas, Inc.

I had not run my hot tub for over a year. I filled it with water, only to find out I had problems. Steve, the owner, came out the same day I called. He diagnosed the problems quickly. He spent time with me to educate me on proper maintenance and care of hot tubs and how to keep the chemicals balanced. He was back to install my leaking pump and heating element as soon as the pump arrived. Now, everything is working smoothly.
