Description of Work: Painting a four unit building in downtown Astoria. It was long overdue!

Description of Work: Painted exterior on my 1907 craftsman house.

Description of Work: Stained our house. From time we accepted the bid to the time the job was finished was about 2 weeks. Very happy with the results!

Description of Work: All my contact with Mr. Hale was over the phone from requesting a estimate to scheduling the work. He power washed,did minor repairs and painted my 2 story home.

Description of Work: They power washed my house almost immediately after I called them to paint my house. They called the following week (when the weather had improved) and set the painting date. Five men arrived on that date and painted my complete house in about 6 hours using rollers and brushes only (no spraying) I was very impressed and would recommend this company to anyone. I am happy with their level of service and their price.

Description of Work: We got 3 bids for painting the inside of our new condo at the coast. We decided to go with the highest bidder because we had seen his work, he had an excellent reputation in the community, and we felt a high level of trust of him personally. We had painted some of the 1400 square foot place ourselves. We are both extremely detailed and did a perfectionistic job. For example, we spent 3 weekends on the bathroom. We had spent months choosing our colors and were using Devine Color Paint. We decided that we wanted the place finished off by a pro, especially since the ceilings were nearly 18 feet high. We used our own painting of a closet and one bathroom as an example of the quality level that we were looking for. We have many closets and we wanted them painted inside and out. Additionally, we wanted all ceilings painted. Most of the walls were painted Devine Peanut, but we had two accents walls in Devine Paprika. Plus we had exposed duct work (it's a loft!) that we wanted painted Devine Paprika everywhere (including tight closet spaces). I mentioned that if he was going to use a tall ladder or scaffolding, it sure would be great if he could get the sticky labels off of the upper windows that we can't begin to reach. I told him that I would be grateful if they spackled here and there as the dry wall was uneven in many places, places that you don't see sometimes until you paint. Jeff asked lots of great questions to help make the job clear (flat or trim here and there, paint this or not, etc.) I handed over the keys and gave him the month of January to get the job done. He said that he would start next week and get it done.
