+ -1 moreThe inspector was punctual and very polite. He fully inspected the home and provided tips on how to correct things that were not currently reportable but may be of concern in the future. I still have the list of items he pointed out for future action after I purchased the home. Price was exceptionally reasonable and he did not charge for things not required to be reported.

Description of Work: I didn't know what to expect as I have only once before had a house I was going to make an offer on inspected. And this was more a cabin rather than a house. I scheduled the inspection on a Sunday because I had to travel to Cannon Beach from Seattle. The house inspector came at the agreed time and we had a short conversation about my plans to make an offer and I needed to know what additional expenses I could expect if I did purchase the cabin. I followed the inspector around the house and he explained all the things that needed attention, explaining which items needed immediate attention and which could wait. He took pictures and included them in his report. One area that I'm was most grateful for was his thoroughness in his inspection of the crawl space. He discovered that several of the joists supports were rotten and were in need of immediate attention. He included pictures of these supports. I am certain that these pictures which I sent to the owner were influential in the acceptance of my offer, an offer that was below the appraisal. To get the pictures the inspector donned a jumpsuit and crawled across a dirty and narrow space. I would recommend Pacific Coastal Home Inspection Services to friends needing a house inspection.
