About us

Dave McNeil owner of Artisan Tree Care, has over 31 years in the tree industry. Born in Far Northern California, on the Hoopa Indian reservation Dave is a product of the Pacific northwest. Dave grew up in the timber industry learnng to work hard and be fair minded. At 19 he was accepted to Pacific Slope Tree in Marin county where he apprenticed for 3 years. He has worked worked all over the Western United States, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Kodiak, Akaska. Doing Residential and Commercial tree work, timber harvesting, fire clearance, and government projects. Trimming and removing trees in places like San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, Lake Tahoe, Portland Oregon, Seattle Washington, and the FEMA Beetle kill tree project in Southern California. Also in our national forests and of course, homes and businesses throughout Jackson County, Oregon. Artisan Tree Care is licensed and insured - CCB #191979
