The entire experience went superbly from beginning to end. Donnie and Dylan were polite, professional and didn't waste a single moment. They were very careful to leave everything as they found it and the windows never looked better. I was amazed at the difference the film made without disturbing the view.

My business is the type that suffers from midnight smash and grab artists leaving a floor littered with glass shards, missing property, and frightened employees. I decided BEFORE this happens to me (as has happened to colleagues of mine), I'd research my options and be proactive, and install the window security barrier film. I called and made an appointment with Donnie's firm. He and crew arrived, took measurements, explained options, and sent a bid promptly. I called with a few questions, and decided to green light the project. We set up a time, and mind you, I'm in Vancouver and he's in Portland. His crew arrived a bit early, and after coffee'ing up, went to work, efficiently, with no disruption to my Wednesday operation. Start-educate owner on known issues with bonding agent-cleaning instruction-are you happy?-yes-any questions-nope...OK, call us immediately is you notice any defects of have questions. Perfect encounter. Small issue arose...I called...Donnie made an appointment to come out and fix...but after two weeks, issue was so minor as to be irrelevant, but Donnie OFFERED to replace one panel of film. What? Ya know...fergit it. Job was SO GOOD that after two weeks you'd need someone to point any defect out. Donnie offered, I decline...Donnie took a few bucks off the bill and I was very happy with the job, so much so that I gave him a referral to another business in my complex that got hit. I'll also speak highly to colleagues in town and recommend they look no further that Portland Window Tinting. Great job and would hire again, in a New York minute!

They explained the different tints on the window film they used and helped me select the best one for my needs. The installers were very professional. They did a beautiful job and cleaned up when they were done. The film is amazing and works wonders!

Excellent follow-up and service after the install. I had a window that showed signs of a gas leak. Josh was helpful coordinating the window replacement with the manufacturer and replaced the original film under warranty. This guys follow-up is outstanding.

Very punctual. Came in and met with us and reviewed the products. Left samples for us to try out for a bit to assist us with the level of protection. Once we decided on the product, they came back and installed a few weeks later. The installation guys were punctual, cleaned up after themselves, and answered all questions.

They did an excellent job. I’m not sure if I remember how much I spent on their services and a good job would be different anyway, but I thought they were very comparable. The owner of the company came out and gave the bid for me. I think they came out on a Saturday or something to work into my schedule. So they were wonderful. They were just very professional and did a very fine job that I have no complaints about. They were great with responsiveness. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

Everyone from the company is punctual, tidy, very well-mannered and quite professional... other than the follow-through for corrections post-installation.

Very tuned into what we wanted done. Can set your watch to whatever time they were supposed to be there.

The owner was very helpful in explaining the films and sending samples. He stuck to his original estimate and arrived on time and completed the task efficiently and professionally. His communication was great. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

The service was top-notch. My parents just moved into assisted living and were suffering from terrible glare in their new apartment. I called and asked for help on short notice, and they were very responsive. I wanted lots of information on different options, which was provided. They were punctual, professional, and the result is beautiful. Darren was totally helpful throughout the process, and the installer (whose name I cannot recall, unfortunately) was very pleasant.

I was looking for window tinting that had a residential focus (rather than an auto specialist), and found Darren's website. He came over that day to give me a quote and show some samples of film. Had a good selection of films to show. Very professional and responsive. Had lots of samples, seems to know his products well. He also gave me a quote on tinting windows that get a lot of sun, and he offered quite a lot of information on the value of films (both to protect from UV and for heat loss/retention). Had to special-order the tint I wanted on the front door, but when it came in a day early, he called and moved the installation forward one day. Nice. I did not seek out other quotes for this job. Like anything else, I probably could have found it cheaper, but this seemed in the ballpark that I was thinking of paying, and Darren's professionalism and promptness made this a good interaction. He did a quick and ultra-neat job of applying film today.
