Excellent work all around. Jim met with us to provide a quote the day after we called. Work began quickly after we approved the work. From service to materials and pride in the work, Aloha Fence and Deck were great. My wife and I are fully satisfied with our rebuilt deck. The Trex Transcend composite decking is just what we wanted:)

Extremely well - two hard working crew members who completed the entire project in two days. Worked around existing metal posts that could not be dug out of the ground. Solid fence and looks great from street.

They did an excellent job. They tore out the original deck and put extra weight baring. They started on a Monday and finished on Thursday. I would recommend them.

Before I left I had the estimate in hand and a potential install date pending my client’s approval. Client okayed and then we got the HOA paperwork filed for permit. Fence was built 3/5-7/18 exactly as promised and to client’s specification. It is beautiful! Working with Jim, Raymond and Betty was a great pleasure. It went well, we have a beautiful fence and deck.

The lead guy Jim showed up on time to bid the job. He walked around the yard, measured off the lines. He asked what I want, I explained, and he gave me a written bid before he left. He made notes on the bid form to describe the options that would add or subtract from the total. I thought the price was a little high, so I called a few other contractors. Some other contractors showed up on time, but didn't seem to know what they were doing. Others didn't show, or showed way late, or didn't ever get back to me with a bid. Everyone else had problems and excuses, but Jim was in and out with a firm bid in an hour. I called Jim back, discussed a few options. I hired him. His crew of 2 men arrived on time the scheduled day. They pulled the old fence and put up a new one using top quality cedar, none of the warped or knotty junk. Good stuff. Small issue: One guy seemed more experienced than the other. The "newer" guy made a couple of mistakes, which were pointed out to me by the neighbor who was affected. Jim came back and fixed it all without any blowback. I pointed, he understood, and the problem was solved. Nice guy, professional, competent crew.

Very well. James did a very good job in organizing the job. Three people were sent by him and each of them was very nice and professional. They finished the job ahead of time and started working even before asking me to pay any deposit. Nice and generous. Will hire again.

Very happy, I have the nicest looking fence in the neighborhood ... that's what all my neighbors say! I would recommend you talk to them.

We needed 2/3 of our fence replaced, the other 1/3 had been done 11 years earlier. We had an upcoming appraisal of the house later in the week and could not have any work done the following day, because I would be sleeping, so they promised they could get the entire project finished in one day, and they did. The fence looked great and I was surprised how quick they got it done. I decided to add a new gate on the other side of the house, and they did a great job on that too. Originally I was going to have them save some of the old boards, to fill in my "good neighbor" fence that was the 1/3 portion, but after looking at some of the boards, I decided to just purchase new boards for that purpose. Aloha Fence & Deck had about the same price as Home Depot, and they delivered them at for no extra charge, as well as the 16 foot boards for the top, so my fences would now match. The only problems were minor, they installed the latches on the gates so high up it would have been easy for someone to reach over and come in, but they quickly came out and fixed them, when I complained. Also, there were a few leftover things that could have been cleaned up, such as some fence brackets. When we had some severe winds a couple months later, I noticed one of the new boards had come loose. Apparently they missed a couple nails on that particular board. But all in all, it was a good experience, and when I called them several times about various issues, they were very nice and responsive to my needs, and they hauled everything away, and also left a few of the old boards like I asked, in case I need them for replacements for the older portion of my fence.

Looks absolutely great and they did it for 2/3 the price of the two other competitors I had come give a quote on the job. Thanks Aloha Fence & Deck!

We are very happy with our new composite deck and privacy panels. It's just how we imagined and it has made a huge improvement in our backyard. We had a few other estimates before finding Aloha Fence and Deck and Jim's estimate was the only one we found that came in within our budget. He helped with the design of the deck and privacy panels and we love the finished results! We also had a tree removed that left a hole in our fence, which Jim did not charge us extra to fix. He even straightened out a section on our fence that was falling over for no extra cost. We did find a couple things that needed to be re-done on the deck, but Jim and his crew fixed it right away and made sure we were happy with the finished result. We were so impressed with their professionalism and quality of work and would highly recommend them for any deck or fence projects! We are so glad we found them!

Jim came out to give an estimate. He surprised us by offering several new design ideas in addition to just replacing what was there. He returned with several drawings including cost estimates for them. He incorporated the changes we wanted in the design we chose. In removing the old deck it was discovered that it had not been level, with a five inch difference in height between the house and the garden shed that abutted the deck on one side. An agreeable solution was found and Juan and Jamie completed the new deck in the time frame given. They were very good about explaining everything they were doing and why and consulting with us throughout the project. It was a real pleasure to work with them.

The job went great! Jim did the bidding & was punctual and easy to work with. The crew worked hard & Juan was meticulous. The Deckoraters material is great and has the best composite warranty. We were pleased with Project from start to finish.

Once they got started the project went well. (To get worked into the schedule took about two months after giving them the go ahead). They removed the existing deck cover, dug out the old concrete that held the wooden post, and hauled all this material away. They installed new support posts without any significant damage to the surrounding landscaping -- impressive! Once the new construction started, I decided that I wanted to paint the stringers before they were installed. They adjusted the schedule without any hassles and didn't charge me any extra for the time they had to wait. They checked with me throughout the project on a daily basis to keep me informed and discuss the construction details. The only complaint I have is that they laid the panels out on the lawn for a couple of days and the grass underneath was pretty much dead the rest of the summer. We had a very wet winter season in the early months of 2016 and the cover has been watertight. We are very pleased with their work!
