He was very punctual and did what he said he was going to do. If there was something I didn't like he was very responsive at coming over to take care of it. I had a tile that came up and he came right over and took care of it.

LOUSY CRAFTSMANSHIP. He charges $40/hr. The work is performed sloppily and I have to redo much of it. I had countertop tiles installed by someone else. In order to accommodate the back splash tile, Stevin Johnson raised the electric outlets. The holes in the walls are cut badly and the electric boxes are inserted at various depths so that the plug outlets are not flush with the cover plates. After the medium dark brownish tiles were installed, Stevin re-installed the kitchen sink. He smeared white silicone caulking in uneven wide bands across the tile and grout. I now have to hire a plumber for about 2 1/2 hrs (at $85/hr) to fix the problem. Getting rid of the silicone embedded in the grout will be difficult and time consuming. The sink leaked because Stevin installed the garbage disposal at an angle and forgot to connect the third screw that fastens the disposal to the ring below the sink. He neglected to extend the plastic pipes to accommodate the added height of the tiles. Of course the sink leaked, and according to him, this was "due to it having been installed wrong previously." The problem with the caulking smears is "the manufacturer's fault." This guy is sloppy, arrogant and interested only in making a quick buck. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!
