Description of Work: Our air conditioner quit working on a very hot Sunday afternoon. The technician came promptly, cleaned our outside fan assembly and reset the switch in the attic. He didn't have a replacement switch with him so he had to return a week or so later to replace the switch. He had given me an oral estimate of "about $150.00" for the service weekend service call and repair but the final bill was considerably higher. I have high praise for the professionalism of the technician and the timeliness and quality of the repair but I think the cost was too high.

Description of Work: Service included checking the air conditioner operation and coolant level where additional refrigerant was needed. A clogged drain tube was cleared. Tips about avoiding future problems with drainage. Overall great service.

Description of Work: When I called about the furnace of our rental house not starting up Mike answered right away. He was easy to talk to and came right over between other houses. He fixed the problem within 10 min, showed me the possible problem and how to fix it in the future. He had everything completed within 20 min time. We will keep him on speed dial in case of future furnace issues. Highly recommend him!

+ -1 moreTheir bid was the highest one of the four bids that I got. The technician who came out was very professional; however he did not take or request any measurements of the house. He also did not ask any questions about where the vents were located.
Description of Work: Mike’s Heating & Air gave me a bid to replace a broken natural gas furnace with a new natural gas furnace in early May. They were also going to handle the permits that went with that.

+ -1 moreThe only negative was a scheduling error on their part for going over the quote and the day of instal a staff meeting went over and I had to leave while waiting for instaler to show. my parents have used this company so it was not a big deal. Once on the job everything was A++++. Great attitude, flexible, thourough. Checked staticcs and had to open bathroom vents. Mastics in register boot to seal. Removed all debris, did training and answered all my questions. Price was below other local companies and other equal type brands. I will always use Mike's. I have personally know them to go back and fix other companies bad jobs and they have earned and continue to earn my business. Very satisfied for the large investment at a great price and no second thoughts.

+ -1 moreVery well. They started the install within a couple days of my authorization. Everyone was very knowledgeable and very helpful when I pestered them with questions. They added an extra box (per my request) so an additional duct could be added later if needed. A Honeywell F-100 filter was included. I chose a Lennox G51MP-36B-070 gas furnace.
Description of Work: Removal of old GFA furnace and installation of new GFA furnace.
