Description of Work: We asked 3 landscapers to bid on a job which consisted of replacing a retaining wall and replacing the fence around 1/2 of our property. M & M submitted a bid which was the lowest of the three. The bid lacked detailed descriptions of what they were going tp do, how the problem was going to be solved concerning water seepage and other issues surrounding this project. In addition, I asked for 3 references and we didn't hear anything from them for approximately 10 days. We thought they weren't going to submit their references. At that point, we decided against M & M. We hired Second Chance instead. M & M dropped of their references after about 10 days, but to my thinking, it was too late for me to consider them.

+ -1 moreWithout prior discussion, workmen pruned branches and severed roots of large sequoia in front lawn, repeaedly failed to show or showed late to remedy minor problems with sprinkling sysem, attempted to fix drainage problem but never checked back to see if attempt was successful (it wasn't), left large gravel/stones on surface of lawn after attempting to fill in low areas. In sum, the system works well, the lawns look good and the price was reasonable;; however attention to detail was often lacking and followup to cure defects was too often absent or unreliable.
Description of Work: Install automatic underground sprinkling system, install drain line,remove and replace existing lawns and edge new lawns with pavers

+ -1 moreWe are very pleased with our retaining wall and pavered patio. We have used M & M landscaping several times and they are by far the best value in our area and the quality is excellent! We have been told that M & M has the highest volume of paver installation in the local area, and we can understand why. We wouldn't use anyone else. Many of our neighbors use them as well. They also do a great job on other landscaping work. Thank you Moy and thank you to your employees for doing a great job!
Description of Work: Install pavered patio, retaining wall, plants, fencing, grass repair, removal of unwanted plant, sprinkler repair.
