I am out-of-state. Someone demolishes my home mail box. I need it replaced ASAP. I called my realtor. I told him about the urgency for replacement and that I could not be there. Yes. He would help. I was called by Kresta Wallace of Harry Wallace Construction of Albany, OR on Monday. I explained the situation. Her response was that they could do it that week. She handled the situation superbly. Two days later on Wednesday, I had a picture of the completed project. Great job. It wasn't just a mailbox. It was the timing, my not being there, and the urgent need all when they are very busy. She understood, took the task, and got it done. Very much appreciated. This company does excellent work and certainly is committed to doing the best job in a timely manner. They sure have the customer first in mind. My thanks to H Wallace Construction. We all need people like Kresta, Harry, and their employees. I would definitely hire them again and I highly recommend them.

Greg and Dylan did a wonderful job. The entire encounter was professional, easy, and quick. I contacted H.Wallace via email. Kresta got back to me in less than 24 hours. I received a bid and schedule promptly. Greg and Dylan arrived on time, worked quickly and cleaned the site up when they finished. They did a great job replacing a support post for the patio roof that had rotted at the bottom. I would highly recommend H. Wallace to anyone looking for a professional handyman/construction specialist.

H Wallace and crew did a great job repairing our damaged kitchen flooring. We plan to work with them again this winter to wrap up some other projects around our house!

HWC remodeled our sunroom. It’s even better than we imagined. HWC craftsmanship is top notch. We were also incredibly impressed with their communication. I’d recommend them for any job!

We hired H Wallace Construction for a small job, to build an extension to our kitchen island in preparation for new countertops. They did an outstanding job for a reasonable price. Will be hiring again for my next construction job, big or small.

Harry and his team did a wonderful job, from start to finish. Harry was upfront about not being able to schedule us until October but ended up squeezing us in a couple months earlier. Harry was very prepared for the bid, took detailed notes, and individuals from his team knew exactly what to do when they arrived. We primarily worked with Steven and Tim, and they were awesome, friendly, and professional. We appreciated that they took the time to clean up after each project.

Harry was easy and fun to work with. His crew did a wonderful job! They were always professional, clean, and great at communication. We even asked for a few extra things and they did them willingly, with a smile, and we were so thankful! We are already thinking about future remodels (Harry has great vision!) and saving up.

It went well. Harry was great to work with. All the workers were also. There were a couple communications problems, but it was worked out. Some of the quality wasn't "excellent" but it was worth what we paid.

Built hand rail from garage to house, replaced lightbulbs in 14 foot ceiling over stairs, adjusted european hinges on cabinets.

Stop looking for any other contractor. This is the one to do any job. The final outcome exceeded any of my expectations. The workers were punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and gave me daily updates of what they were doing and the schedule for events. They swept and vacuumed all work areas every day when finished. The area was left spotless. The contractor, Harry Wallace, kept me updated for schedule of workers. Communication was great. It was a pleasure to work with this company and will do so in the future.

Harry designed and built a small shop attached to our garage. When it was all done, it looked like it had been part of the design from the very beginning! He was very responsive to questions and concerns, and his crew was good about cleaning up after the day's work. He is honest, friendly, and communicative. If some part of the project isn't quite right, he will keep at it until the customer is satisfied. We are very pleased with the sun-room roof fix. Harry worked with another contractor to work out parts of the solution, and they coordinated the work well between them. It was not an easy problem to fix, and we are very happy with the result. We would hire Harry Wallace Construction again.

Everything went very well. Harry and his brother, Tim, show up exactly when they say they will, not even 5 or 10 minutes late. This impressed me greatly. He was willing to work the schedule around so we could be there when we needed to. The work was done carefully and well, and there was never any mess left behind. Our walls are plastered, and this was a difficult pattern to match, so Harry scheduled a man to do the texturing. The pattern matches perfectly. This was a wonderful experience--and I would certainly use Harry again. I have already given his name to several friends. Excellent, excellent!!!

It was a spectacular experience! Honestly. The guys were all great. (The people they organized to come in for heating and electrical services were also phenomenal!) Professional, courteous and punctual-the whole lot! They did a fair estimate of costs to include all necessary services. It was great to write only one cheque and have Harry sort all the finite details. Harry was able to discuss projects and assist me in the basic design and building plans I had hoped for, in order to bring them to fruition in a manner to best accommodate our space and within budget. Harry was honest and fair and ensured he and his amazing crew did everything to finish the projects to exceed our expectations. They absolutely did! The pricing they gave I marked as a "B". I would like to clarify. Harry was a bit more expensive than some. He was way more expensive than a couple and pretty even with a few estimates we received prior to signing a contract with him. We stuck to hiring Harry because 1. he is an honest and straightforward guy. YOu will see that from the start. 2. He showed up and he returned calls and he was punctual in giving estimates and answering questions I needed prior to spending that much money. 3.He was upfront. He wanted to make sure you had complete understanding and happiness with the process before it began...and always answered questions along the way to continue to ensure that happiness. He let you know his expectations for his crew on the job to ensure our happiness and he let us know what he expected to ensure a smooth start to a job and a smooth finish. Everything was upfront and out in the open. 4. He and his crew SHOWED UP. The bottom line is that, though I would have been happy to pay less, I am not sure the quality would have been there with other companies...you really DO get what you pay for. We will always use H Wallace Construction. We are so thankful to have found them. We have some new projects we are starting, soon. Cant wait to book Harry and the guys for these. Thank you.

Harry was professional and delightful to work with from start to finish. He is a great communicator, makes sure he understands what you want, and does what he says he will do, while being flexible in handling daily variations that inevitably occur. He is an excellent builder, but he also took on some small handyman jobs cheerfully. Every person on Harry's staff was professional and friendly. For the big project, I was getting some new well and water equipment installed and needed a new pump house, starting with a new concrete pad. Harry worked directly with the well company and his subcontractors to ensure that the pad was laid and the pump house was built at the appropriate points during each stage of well equipment installation. This was all orchestrated so that I would have minimal disruption of water service and minimal worries of freezing during that time. He also designed a removable skylight directly above the well pump so that the pump could easily be removed and serviced by the well company in future. My project contact at the well company told me how much he enjoyed working with Harry, and he was very impressed by the quality of construction. It was a complicated project, but I didn't have to worry about it at all. Harry let me know at every step of the way what was happening. And the result? The new pump house is cute as a button, a handsome addition to the property, and totally functional.

Absolutely outstanding work! Went the extra mile to make his work excellent. I greatly appreciate the time and effort he put into the job.

We really appreciated that he did a walk-through and saw everything, told us what it was, fixed it, came in within the bid, something came up while the buyer was looking at the house and he went back and fixed that. I don’t think he charged us for that. It was the kind of thing where you can contact with him to do it and he will do it and if he has any questions he will call you otherwise you really don’t have to be involved.

Removed fiberglass shower. Plastic sheeting was placed on all floors leading to the Exterior. Contained and removed all debris. Framed for tile shower and installed cement board. Floated pan. Set tile,grouted and detailed.

Harry and his brother's work was done as scheduled; they work fast and efficeintly; their work is done with a high level of quality; we will call them back when our needs arise.

They did great work! Not only were the holes filled, but they painted each area (we supplied the matching paint) and it's now impossible to tell where the holes had been. Harry also did a fine job of keeping me informed about when they'd be able to do the work (they were juggling several jobs in Corvallis). All in all, no surprises in the whole process and a very reasonable price for the work performed. I will not hesitate to contact Harry again with work in the future.

Harry was great to work with. I will definitely call him next time I need repair work done. He was responsive when I contacted him and he kept me updated on the work progress. He and his crew worked quickly and cleaned up when they left. He was honest about work that needed to be done versus work that could wait. The billing was accurate and reflective of the estimate.

This company is great! Harry and Greg came out to provide an estimate/bid soon after I called them and told them that our realtor had recommended his company to us. We reviewed our entire home inspection report with them in order to identify all of the repairs/corrections we wanted a bid for. They provided a written bid via email within 2 days as they stated they would. Harry provided a bid on many specific tasks yet allowed us to hire his company for the corrections we needed most and could afford. His team - Greg, Trent, Tim and Gunner all showed up together to do the work and got things finished in one day! When I asked if someone could return to fill in one gap around the new door with foam/caulk, they arrived within one day. This crew was professional, friendly and hard-working. Harry was an excellent communicator both via email and phone (even text). I would happily recommend H Wallace Construction to anyone in the area.
