Linda was pretty good at the marketing side. We had lots of pictures and lots of places on line that our house was shown with good pictures and writeups. She looked and sounded professional and experienced. She sounded friendly and was quick to respond to e-mail questions -- however, she answered only the questions that she wanted to, not the ones that may have been the most important to you, even when repeated over and over. In our opinion, she listed it way too high (to get our business perhaps) at about $142,000. A few weeks later, she recommended it be reduced it to $137,900 but she didn't reduce it down to the comparisons I saw. It was on the market 5.5 months with very few showings. It sold for $136,500 but we had to pay buyer's $4,000 closing costs (so essentially we got $133,500). She was far less than truthful in a few instances and my experience only kept my daughter from thinking she was being completely honest with us. If I asked her 6 questions, she might answer two. Or she would say "that's not the way we do it in Oklahoma." which I found not to be true through a realtor friend up there. Admittedly, it was a very tough market and I found out from the friend that many sellers have to pay buyers' closing costs at this economic time. But I made myself sick trying to reason with her or question her without worrying that she might not represent us well or sway the buyer against the house. I've bought and sold about 8 homes in my life and this experience was unlike any other -- a total frustrating nightmare. I would not recommend her to anyone as the downsides outweighed the good.

Linda is fantastic! We sold our house in less than a week! She had a professional stager come to the house and work with us for 2 hours, then a professional photographer took pictures. She posted our listing all over the internet and put attractive flyers by the sign in the front yard. She was also planning on hosting a broker's lunch at the house and inviting all the realtors in the area to come see it, but we didn't get that far because it sold so quickly. When we started looking for a new house Linda was very helpful. She set up a website with my specifications that would email when new lisitngs went on the market. Then I would let her know which ones I'd like to see. She would steer me away from neighborhoods she knew we wouldn't like. Her knowledge of Oklahoma City is very impressive. Customer service is the name of the game with Linda. She was always looking out for my best interests. She always returned phone calls, emails, and texts in a timely manner. She also offers a 1% discount off her commission on the house you sell if you buy and sell with her. I can't say enough good things about her! Her husband, Paul is also a realtor, so they would tag team. If one person was busy, the other one would get things done.
