When I spoke to the repair man on the phone he said he may not be able to finish the job in one day but he did come on the same day he was called and was able to complete the job!

Needed a sprinkler head adjusted in one of their "tune up" specials. They showed up late after I had called them to find out why. The two guys that showed up were nice enough but basically non-english speakers. They adjusted the sprinkler head and I tried to get them to tell me about upgrading my system with new control panel and/or new better sprinkler heads etc etc. That conversation went no where due to their english abilities. To top it off one week later the adjusted sprinkler head went back to doing what it was doing prior to my "tune up". Adjusted it myself and it's been fine these last few months. Overall a total waste of money and time.

Eric came out and gave me an estimte for a 6 zone sprinkler system which I then requested be changed to a 7 zone system to allow all of our flower beds be on their own separate zone. The original estimate for the 6 zone system was $3,000. The extra zone only cost an additional $400 and was well worth it. The entire installation only took 2 days and the installation crew did a wonderful job. There was a issue with one of the flower beds not getting sufficient water and after a call to Eric, his crew came back the next day and added another couple of sprinkler heads which resolved the problem. I am very happy with how the entire project went start to finish.

Overall- I was pleased with the thoughtful way Carlos listened and asked questions that gave me the understanding of what I needed to decide. He was helpful in explaining and his helper also gave me tips of what needed to happen to get other sprinklers to work more efficiently. The lady answering the phone was kind and helpful. She was busy because it was Friday and still was very pleasant. The workers came early after calling and asking for directions. They were thorough and constantly tried to figure out how to fix my many problems for three and ahalf hours(no lunch break!). Carlos gave me lots of opotions and ideas to save our money. He told me what everything would cost before he did it and when I needed him to add a note to the bottom of the invoice about COX cutting the pipes where a main leak happened, he had no problem with that and it looks great. My sprinklers work thanks to a sweet neighbor helping me and this company who had great ideas and hard workers. Carlos and his helper listened to my worries and always had respect and kindness in their voices. I was pleased with everything except the peices of pipe they forgot on the ground. Not that big of a deal when I had no sprinklers since 1997! This was a good experience overall. I watch grandbabies and homeschool my teenager so I really needed to get all the info I could to explain to my wonderful husband what they had done. He (hubby) saw where they had marked some places and fixed more sprinklers later! Saved money and we enjoyed the suggestions from this companies workers. I would tell anyone to call this company, if you can't understand other dialects you might tell them you need to have a translator. I think it would all go faster if we understood each other the first time. I should have told them I knew about thirteen sprinklers, because they told me as they left that I only had four in the back. I thought they meant the station was #4. I realized later they did not know where all of my sprinklers were. I couldn't explain what a blow-off tank was to them and a lot of other things that concerned me. It was a bit frustrating at first. Get it written down and know what you need to say before they come and call the company if they don't undertsand you, I guess. Time is money when you can't understand each other. Carlos's phone was ringing all the time - but he worked through talking so I wasn't really mad about it. He was smart and figured out some things that Ididn't know what to do about. We had another company out and they suggested we rent a "locator" ourselves and do the work for ourselves then call them. I didn't know what a "locator" looked like or what it did exactly. This company had it's own locator. You might tell them you don't want stuff left on the ground and get ready to wash alot of dirt off the sidewalks when they get through. They had to dig up several heads and replace them. I am thankful for their knowledge and good attitudes.

Tom and an installation crew arrived when agreed upon and installed the entire system in one day. All appeared well after they finished as they ran through the systems operation briefly before leaving. However, within a few hours, while away running errands, my neighbor called to report a "river" flowing across the front lawn. I immediately called Tom. Within an hour the installation crew foreman and one other arrived to find their connection off the main water line had come unglued, which they quickly repaired. The only other problem I experienced was the first time I mowed, a valve box cover came off and was destroyed in my mover. I was somewhat dismayed to be charged $10 (plus my time and travel) to replace the cover, even after explaining to the company owner that both Tom and the foreman said the covers were designed be mowed over. Rating this experience an overall "B" due to the quality issues of the water leak and valve box cover. Overall I am happy with the system, it is simple to program and I have had no other problems, though I remain very cautious when mowing around the valve box covers.

They came out that day and did the quote and were out the next day. I was pleased with the quality of their work. I would use them in the future.

OIC was the only vendor to give me a quote while on-site. Dan, the service manager, returned my calls within 4 hours and patiently answered questions. When the install crew arrived to do the work, they showed up ready to go but no one notified me in advance so I could be home. Fortunately, There was someone else here, I was called and raced home from work. The crew was knowledgeable and move quickly but expect to make a few decisions for them if a complete plan has not been laid out or unusual problems occur. In my case, we had to do some odd routing of a pipe run under a deck, pulling up the deck boards, finding space and moving the sleeping baby possums. After install, Dan came back out, briefed us on system operation and maintenance plus adjusted a couple of sprinkler heads to a more water-efficient spray pattern. Lessons learned 1: produce your own plan drawings before you start. Work together to locate not only the water-emitting devices but also value boxes so they are not in the middle of the yard. Also, the contractor does not currently have their own pipe locating equipment so if Okie doesn't locate all your utilities (phone, electric, gas and CABLE - guess what got cut?), be prepared for an outage and add the marked and discovered utilities to your drawing. I took photographs through the entire project for maintenance documentation. Lesson learned 2: negotiate. Even though OIC's price was lower than the other vendors, I still feel like I could have negotiated for a better price on the drain system since it was run at the same time as the watering system. One-time trenching versus the cost of hand-digging around existing pipes. Between Dan and the crew, I have confidence in OIC to follow-through on any warranty issues that may arise and will call on them again when I need to make the next addition to the system.

I called Oklahoma Irrigation for an estimate of the work and was told they would arrive at 9:30 am. Clay called early and said he could come at 9:00. He was very pleasant and determined quickly what the problem was and said he could fix it right away. Within 45 minutes he had replaced the faulty head in the front yard, dug a hole in the back yard to find the leaky pipe that was sending water skyward like a gyser, repaired it and replaced the dirt and lawn. It was a pleasure to do business with this company, especially since I've recently had a bad experience with another sprinkler company. They did what they said they would for a very reasonable price. I will use them again.
