Extreme Heat & Air

We loved these guys! They came in as contractors but I feel like they left as friends after 3 days of installing our new system. They removed the 30 year old system that was all rusted out, and replaced with a brand new unit that is so quiet we can barely tell the thing is running. The new unit seems to heat and cool our house just perfectly because we stay comfortable whether the temp is 10 degrees or 90 degrees (that's the only range we've had in the past 3 months). Their bid was very competitive compared to the 3 other bids I had for the same job. They were not the lowest bid, but the lowest was for a goodman system and I wanted something a little higher quality. I had another lennox bid that was about $1000 higher than Extreme. Hopefully that info helps others when price shopping for HVAC. My only complaint is we got a very basic thermostat with our install. So I would suggest upgrading the thermostat which we'll do eventually so I can control the thing from my cell phone. (gadget geek - need a smart thermostat!) And then after a couple of months when I couldn't find the paperwork to file for my rebate from the gas company, Brian came back out and delivered the paperwork with signatures so I could get my big rebate from ONG. That was nice of him. I don't just SAY I recommend these guys, I'm actually having them bid a job for my mother this week. Which is why I remembered to come back and give them a review after 3 months.
