Description of Work: He added new lighting in the kitchen, some closets, and other parts of the house. He also moved and installed outlets and put in wiring for speakers for a sound system.

+ -1 moreThe entire service call went great. Gary restored full power to our home, and he also called the company that will have to service the generator to let them know what part they need to install in the generator's electrical panel.
Description of Work: About 4 years ago, A&E Electric installed the panel for our generator. Yesterday, the electricity went off and the generator kicked on. When the power came back on, not all of our lights/plugs had power. My husband called Gary Whitaker who was just finishing up a job, and Gary got to our house less than 30 minutes later. Gary discovered that a part in our generator's electrical panel needed to be replaced, which has to be done by a company that services the generator. As a stop-gap, Gary was able to restore full power to our home. Before he left, I talked to Gary about installing a ceiling fan on our front porch, so I'll he'll be back soon.

His quote was low because as he explained he has very little overhead and knows the value of a dollar. He was very honest and upfront, and answered all my questions. He spoke in terms I could understand and he did not get frustrated with my questions. He is a state licensed and bonded electrician.
Description of Work: Wired indoor and outdoor lighting, wired generator to house, wired new hot tub.
